Moderators
What are we looking for in a Moderator? Well we are looking for someone who believes in what we are doing, and thinks that they can help make Retromags better. Being a Moderator means that you wish to take ownership of a certain section of the forums. You pick a section of the forums that you are most interested in making better, and you hold people to standards when they create topics and replies. You should also want to encourage activity in your section and should seek out new topics of interest to post. The roles of each section are somewhat different, a Moderator of Current Generation Gaming....would browse Kotaku, 1Up and IGN for new topics of interest. While a Moderator of "Feedback/Help" would be responsible for answering questions that our new members may have.
Moderator Requirements
- Your account must be 120 days old
- You must have at least 100 posts
- You must show that you are motivated to help out
- You must be at least 16 years old
Moderator Duties
- Enforce the Forums Rules in your section
- Create some topics of discussion in your section

Advertisement Moderators
What are we looking for in an Advertisement Moderator? Again we are looking for someone who believes in what we are doing, and thinks that they can help make Retromags better. Being a Advertisement Moderator means that you wish to take ownership of a certain section of our Advertisement Database. You pick a section that you are most interested in making better, and you hold people to standards when they create topics and replies. Lets say you wanted to become the Advertisement Moderator of The "Nintendo Entertainment System", you would download magazines from the NES years and remove any advertisements that would add to your section.
Advertisement Moderator Requirements
- Your account must be 120 days old
- You must have at least 100 posts
- You must show that you are motivated to help out
- You must be at least 16 years old
Advertisement Moderator Duties
- Enforce the Forum Rules in your section
- Create at least 15 new Ad Topics per month in your section

Super Moderators
What are we looking for in an Super Moderator? Again we are looking for someone who believes in what we are doing, and thinks that they can help make Retromags better. Being a Super Moderator means that you wish to take ownership of the entire forum. You would have all the duties of being a Moderator, but for the entire site. You would also be responsible for dealing with any issues where a member feels that a Moderator is being unfair. You would also settle any disputes between Moderators themselves.
Super Moderator Requirements
- Your account must be 365 days old
- You must have at least 250 posts
- You must show that you are motivated to help out
- You must be at least 18 years old
Super Moderator Duties
- Enforce the Forums Rules in all sections
- Create some topics of discussion each month
- Responsible for settling disputes between Moderators and Members
- Responsible for settling disputes between two Moderators

Administrators
What are we looking for in an Administrator? This time we are looking for someone that is going above and beyond Being a Administrator means that you wish to take ownership of the entire site. You would help out with any duties on the back-end of this website. You would also be responsible for dealing with any issues where a member feels that a Super Moderator is being unfair. You would also settle any disputes between Super Moderators themselves.
Administrator Requirements
- Your account must be 365 days old
- You must have at least 750 posts
- You must show that you are motivated to help out
- You must be at least 18 years old
Administrator Duties
- Enforce the Forums Rules in all sections
- Create some topics of discussion each month
- Responsible for helping out with the back-end administration tasks
- Responsible for settling disputes between Super Moderators and Members
- Responsible for settling disputes between two Super Moderators

- E-Day watches over the Administrators (but for now watching over Super Mods)
- Administrators watch over the Super Moderators
- Super Moderators watch over the Moderators/Advertisement Moderators
- Moderators/Advertisement Moderators watch over the Members
- Members make sure that this site is active and a fun place!
