Nintendo Games Secrets, Volume 3

About This File

Third book in the series, which is shorter even than volume 2. Though that's not surprising, since volume 3 came out a whopping three months after volume two was already on store shelves. When on earth did DeMaria and Meston sleep?

In any case, this might be my favorite volume of the NES series, since it covers a whole slew of games you almost never see mentioned in other books of the day. Seriously, where else did you find coverage of Pirates!FariaHillsfarThe Last NinjaThe RocketeerBill & Ted's Excellent Video Game AdventureRobin Hood: Prince of ThievesBeetlejuice, or The Uninvited?

Despite promising a continuation of the comic begun in the pages of volume 2, that never happens. I guess we'll never learn everyone's ultimate fate. Oh well. We bought these for the tips and strategies, not the fan fiction. :)

Enjoy! ❤️

This is the last volume of Nintendo Games Secrets I have, so my next release will be something different. I have half a dozen options I'm weighing. Maybe I'll do a poll or something, let you all decide. :)

Thanks!  Shame you don't have Volume 4.

If able, please keep uploading these types of guides (Amazing, Secrets of the Games, Jeff Rovin, etc.), as they are greatly appreciated!

BTW, do you have the Super Metroid and Mega Man X Secrets of the Games guides?  And if you have the Legend of Zelda Link to the Past Secrets of the Games Guide, which version - the one with Zelda 1 and 2 at the end, or the one with Link's Awakening at the end?

I have the Super Metroid guide, but not the Mega Man X book. I have both versions of the Super Mario World book, and the Super Star Wars and Super Empire Strikes Back guides (Prima didn't do a Super Return of the Jedi guide, that was licensed to Infotainment World, and I don't have one). My Link to the Past guide has Zelda 1 and 2 at the end; I don't have the Link's Awakening edition, though I am on the lookout for it. :)

Don't worry...I'm not stopping, I just need to work on something different from the digest-size Secrets of the Game books for a bit. :)
