What systems have you actually played?

So lets see how rounded everyone is, what video game systems have you actually played. I am excluding emulators and clone systems. If you want to say you have played an Nintendo Entertainment System, you have to have played the Official NES with an official game. None of this flash cart stuff :)

I will start, ones in bold were bought/played during their prime. So for example, I only got an Atari Lynx a year or two ago, but I had a Super Nintendo during the 90s.

Atari 2600

Atari 5200

Atari 7800

Atari Lynx

Nintendo Entertainment System

Nintendo GameBoy

Nintendo GameBoy Color

NIntendo GameBoy Advance

Nintendo GameBoy Advance Micro

Nintendo GameBoy Advance SP

Nintendo DS

Nintendo DS Lite

Nintendo 2DS

Nintendo 3DS

Super Nintendo

Nintendo 64

Nintendo Gamecube

Nintendo Wii

Nintendo Wii U

Sega Master System

Sega Genesis

Sega Dreamcast

Sony Playstation

Sony Playstation 2

Sony Playstation 3

Sony Playstation 4

Sony PSP

Sony Playstation Vita

Microsoft Xbox

Microsoft Xbox 360

Microsoft Xbox One

Neo Geo Pocket Color

Colecovision

Now I do own a sealed Sega Game Gear and Atari Jaguar. I want to do a Youtube unboxing video and just have not gotten around to it yet. I am also looking to finally get a Panasonic 3DO and VirtualBoy to add to my collection this year :)

Easier for me to list what I haven't played.

MSX/MSX2

NEC PC 9800 and family

Famicom Disk System

WonderSwan Color

Any UK/Euro-specific microcomputer systems

Playstation 4 (I've handled it, charged my phone with one, own a controller, but never even operated the menu)

Jaguar CD

PS Vita

I own just about everything else, including the Game.com, Virtual Boy, multiple 3DO variants, Atari 5200, and the TurboGrafX 16, and what I don't own now, I've played in the past either on display, or through friends who owned the systems.

The hilarious part is, I only have a video game collecting hobby because I wanted all of this stuff twenty years ago. I don't anymore, but the compulsion to acquire it all is hard to shake. Also, my motivation to preserve that which would otherwise be lost to landfills meshes neatly with this. Old computers (including video games and software) are historically important, illustrating the rapid advancement of human civilization over a period of a single generation.

I'm just going to add the u usual ones first.

Fairchild channel F: I actually got to play this once or twice as I knew a kid with it, very much like Atari 2600 but controller overlays.

Magnavox Odyssey 2: Again a friend had one and I'd play it regularly.

Too many dedicated Pong systems to count. I owned one.

Systems I have personally owned:

Atari 2600

I owned a Merlin. I don't know if that counts because it doesn't have changeable media but it had a number of games on it,

Sega Master System

NES

Sega Genesis

Sega CD

Sega 32X

Nomad

Sega Saturn

Nintendo 64

GBA

Sega Dreamcast

GameCube

PS3

Wii

Nintendo DS

Nintendo 3DS

PS4

Wii U

Systems I have played a lot : (mostly because I knew people who had them and eighter traded systems or played at their house extensively.)

SNES

Intellivision

Colecovision

Atari 5200

Most of the Actual Nintendo game and watch's. Also the Super Mario Bros game Wristwatch.

Gameboy

Gameboy Color

PS2

Game Gear

Virtual Boy

Systems I've played mostly through in store demo units:

CD-i

Atari Lynx

Atari Jaguar

3DO

N-Gage

X-Box

TG-16 and CD

Neo Geo(Although I've played extensively the arcade games.)

Systems I'm pretty sure I've never even touched:

Atari 7800

PSP

PS Vita

Neo Geo Pocket Color

Games.com

Tiger R zone

Original Magnavox Odysey

Obviously I've played everything I own. The only consoles I can recall using that I DON'T have would be a Game.com my cousin owned and a TG16 at the house of someone my parents were friends with. I've seen a Lynx, Master System, and Vectrex but neither own nor played. Anything outside of those doesn't interest me enough, either as an import, something obscure, or a system with too few games.

I'm in a similar boat. At some point, I want to make some glass display cases for the arcade basement. Put in all the right lighting and make sure it's sealed (if only because I really don't care for dusting, being a necessary evil and whatnot), and have all sorts of neat consoles on display. Not that I'd really ever play any of them, nor would I even need them to be operational. Just a neat art project in my mind.

As for my list:

NES

SNES

N64

Gamecube

Wii

Gameboy (and probably a few variants)

Virtual Boy

GBA

NDS

3DS

Genesis

Game Gear

32X

Sega CD

Saturn

Dreamcast

PS1

PS2

PS3

PSP

Xbox

360

XB1

All sorts of PC's and Apples over the years

All sorts of arcade hardware, obviously

As for now though? Pretty much just sticking to the PS3, occasionally plug in the PS2 (which would be redundant, if not for Sony shooting themselves in the foot on backwards compatibility), and every once in a while the modded emulator system since all the old games and systems are with my sister now.

The only ones that I can think of that I haven't played is the Saturn and CD-i.

Between myself and my close to 19 cousins we had it all. Our parents were smart enough to ask each other what they were getting each of us for christmas and split the wealth. We would rotate daily/weekly which Aunt's/Uncle's house we were all be babysat after school, and we literally played it all.

I personally owned all the major brands Nintendo/Gensis/SuperNES/PS1-4, etc up to current gen.

I currently only have PS3-4, Wii-U, PSP/Vita, 3DS/3DSXL. Trimmed down when we were moving for the third time.
