Does anyone remember this short-lived "magazine"? Lots of ads for import games, some content. Really a catalog for that mail-order biz.

I remember having one issue in early-mid 1991 It might have had Fist of the North Star on the cover..

At first, I thought I was remembering something like an early issue of Game Informer from 1991, but that wasn't the case. Beyond Gaming: Ultimate Game Club's Official Magazine was something else entirely.

Wow. Ghoul School and Fist of the North Star...I wonder if Beyond Gaming had an editorial policy stating that the only games allowed on the cover had to be contenders for the "worst game ever" award.

I've seen these categorized as newsletters elsewhere - I'm assuming they're fairly thin and mostly promotional? The North Star issue is #3.

They're mailorder catalogs from Ultimate Games Club with really really minimal editorial, kind of like the first issue of Game Informer. Issue 4 with Ghoul School was stuffed in an EGM poly bag. #3 is Fist of the North Star, I've never seen 1 or 2.
