3DS Pikmin

My son counts Pikmin as one of his favorite franchises but I imagine he'll be disappointed by this installment, sadly.  It's everything he hates - it's 2D, it's action-oriented, and it's on a handheld.

 

Me, I never really got into the Pikmin games but have always appreciated 2D action titles.  Might give this one a try.

i thought i would absolutely LOVE the first Pikmin when i picked up the Wii version a couple years ago. i didn't. it just didn't hold my attention and i found it tedious.

 

a side-scroller is more up my alley. maybe i'll give this one a shot. i'll definitely wait for reviews and gameplay videos tho. not in a hurry to pick it up.

I like Pikmin, but not sure how this one will turn out.  It works great as a 3-D game, and on the WiiU it has very pretty graphics.
