By this point, everyone no matter where they live should have opened any presents they received for any kind of December-based holiday celebrations (and some of you are in time zones where they're already celebrating Boxing Day). So, simple question to round out the year:

What Did You Get? :)

Let's see some ridiculous loot bragging and declarations of retro-themed joy all up in here. Or, alternately, what didn't you receive that you really wanted? :)

Got some thermal socks and a mink type blanket. Yeah, I'm excited, it's friggin' cold here right now! :P

More excited about what I made for family using some scrap metal though. Welded up a few crosses out of nuts. Mostly just to give myself an excuse to learn how to use the welder I bought this past summer. You know what? I rather enjoy working with metal. I think I'll just be making people things for Christmas from now on. :)

Forgot to mention my fiance got me an ultrasonic cleaner for my glasses. If there's one thing I wish I had, but sadly can't (not without having freaking lasers cut up my eyes), it's naturally good vision. So, I'm cursed to wear glasses. Yet somehow, the things end up dirty and smudged without me ever directly touching them, and cleaning them can be a pain, so yeah. Decided to give an ultrasonic cleaner a try, and I gotta say it's pretty rad.

Oh, and got the Walking Dead Compendium 3, collecting chapters 97-144. :)
