Am I the only one running out at midnight to pick this one up?

Seems like the FFXIII previews took all the wind out of XII's sails just like X did to IX (man that is a lot of roman numerals)

Thoughts?

Opinions?

Random words?

I never got into the Final Fantasy series. I am seriously tempted by the upcoming remake of FFIII for the DS though. Do you think that this would be a good intro to the series?

It whould have a real old school feel...

The thing with final fantasy is that none of the games are linked, and the combat system and skills change with each game. It's like a whole new game each time with a new world and characters. (with the exception of FFX and FFX-2)

If you are into old school RPG you can try to play FFIII (the SNES one that is actually FFVI in japan) many people think that FFVII is the best, I have played that game into the ground. It was amazingly beautiful for it's time.

If you are into RPG's I'd at least give them a try.

Final Fantasy 7 for the PSx remains the only FF title that i have played all the way thru , The only others i tried were FF8 and FFX , and they didnt capture my interest like FF7 did

@-@ why do they have to make the game more complex every time....

You actually have to earn skills to equip new weapons and armor.....

But so far it has been enjoyable :D
