So what's your pick for favorite portable system of all time?

I'm voting for Game Boy Advance but it was a tough call between that and the DS and the original Game Boy. I'm really voting for the GBA because it can plays favorite games from the GB, GBC, GBA, and ports of NES and SNES games. That adds up to the best library for any portable IMHO. If I weren't such a sucker for original Game Boy titles I probably would have voted for the DS. The DS is great and may become my favorite given more time and more titles but for now, I'm sticking with my GBA vote.

Game boy original, still remember playing that as a little kid in Spain. It was the greatest thing to me at the time, hehe.

original gameboy b/c it's the only one i own

I've never really liked portable systems cause I'm rarely in the need for one...and in those cases i just bust out my mp3 player (no, not an ipod =] ) Also portable systems tend to be the easiest to emulate. I'ms till waiting for a decent nds emu =)
