Phillyman 2,003 Posted May 14, 2007 call it DecYY/JanYY Thats actually not a half bad idea Now when I release the magazines what should I group in each year?? Sega Visions 1992 Feb92/Mar92 Apr92/May92 Jun92/Jul92 Aug92/Sep92 Oct92/Nov92 Dec92/Jan93 or..... Sega Visions 1992 Dec91/Jan92 Feb92/Mar92 Apr92/May92 Jun92/Jul92 Aug92/Sep92 Oct92/Nov92
RetroDragon 0 Posted May 14, 2007 that depends. what month was the 1st issue? or find out if the dec/jan issues were sent out in dec or jan
RetroDragon 0 Posted May 14, 2007 this makes the most sense to me since the 1st one was jun/jul90 makes the first batch 1 mag bigger Feb92/Mar92 Apr92/May92 Jun92/Jul92 Aug92/Sep92 Oct92/Nov92 Dec92/Jan93
generalleoff 0 Posted October 1, 2007 It's actually Dec/Jan of the same year. Back in the early 90's SEGA owned their own wormhole and they used it to do some some weird space time inversion on the magazine.
rikk7111 0 Posted November 23, 2007 Man that is a crazy way of numbering...sega sure knew how to make games, but mags....well the numbering part sucked....
wildlele 0 Posted February 24, 2008 What a wacky way of numbering lol
E-Day 4,867 Posted February 29, 2008 It was probably too costly to make a monthly magazine, especially since they were sending them out for free for a while to those who registered their systems. Plus I am sure they would have been much skinner if they came out every month. But they could have started the magazine in July/August to make life easier. Arcturius 0 Posted March 1, 2008 Dec/Jan issue would have been written and published in Nov for release in Dec/Jan so I'd count the Dec/Jan issue in the section for the year of the Dec personally because of the actualy release of the mag not the time it was covering. Thor 10 Posted March 1, 2008 Well there were a lot of screwy things that Sega did with Visions. One of the really dumb things was they would not allow the reviewers to tell the truth. They made them actually say nothing but good things about the games. So if they thought the game was crap... too bad they weren't allowed to say so. Sega ran the show and if you didn't like that you don't work on Visions. It was kinda nice when the GamePro publisher took over but that too did not last long.
