Phillyman 2,002 Posted July 16, 2007 This forum has sadly become bloated with inactive accounts, most of them belong to spam bots. Within the next few weeks there will be a mass deletion of accounts from Retromags. Any "Regular Member" who has not logged into this site within the past 365 days will be deleted. I will send out a mass email 7 days before I delete the emails. All that is needed is for the members to log into the forums and there accounts will be safe. MBJ 0 Posted July 17, 2007 A good idea. There are probably also a lot that aren't spambots but are people who joined and then forgot or lost interest. This should help to clean things up.

Phillyman 2,002 Posted July 24, 2007 Am I safely logged in now? Yes once you logged in, you were safe from deletion, We get about 10 registrations per day that are from spammers trying to advertise. We want those users account terminated.

Nesseight 0 Posted July 25, 2007 Spambots are irritating, some even have the audacity to post, generally objectionable content. Notice that nobody seems to have a friend who's a spammer? That's because 1). Spammers have no friends, and 2). Even if they did, they would get the stuffing kicked out of them by that friend, and lose that friend should that friend find out such a dark and disturbing secret.
