meppi
Must have took a long time to put together, but the result is very nice: linky Notice that the video is actually a 2D recreation of the actual GDC 07 official SMG trailer:
wildlele
That is actually pretty cool! I liked the old-school music
baronvonjman
that is rly nice....just shows to go ya how good mario can look on ANY platform.
rockpro182
Really good work. They should make the a mini game on the next Mario.
Prophane33
That looked very impressive. Liked the music too. I'm sure Miyamoto conducted experiments with SNES and N64 hardware that eventually became Mario Galaxy. I wouldn't' be surprised if the SNES stuff looked like this. xxdaznboixx
If only someone would make a 2d Mario Galaxy, that would b so awesome.
TheUpsetGamer
That looks nice. Especially the SMW graphics. I would really love to play that.
fan-off-on
I like to see Nintendo make this type of game for the game boy or Ds.
Cleandregs
Honestly, I thought that video was pretty unimpressive, but I get the idea. A 2D Super Mario Galaxy would be pretty cool.
Flood7585
That video rocked in all sorts of ways. It would be awesome if someone, fan or professional, could crank out like a two or three level demo. Wouldn't need to be too much, to avoid getting into trouble with Nintendo et al, just enough for a little bit of playable fun and laughs. There was a boss in Yoshi's Island where you fight on a round moon platform like Mario Galaxy I remember him! Raphael Raven the final boss of world 5. Rick
This Mario is the best of all, loved the graphics, the music, the Rosalina´s story, everything, one of my favorites now gotta say!

Foppz
Nice. Makes you wonder what they can do with a new Mario WiiWare title...
Spongeman56
Maybe that should be a game on WiiWare. Super NIntendo Mario Galaxy
farmdoggg
If it was for the Snes it would be awesome. That was a great video and takes me back to the good ol days of the snes.
ne3d7ok1ll
That was really good.I hope they make another 2D Mario game.
forbid89
Thats really cool. I was always disappointed there wasn't more Mario games released on the SNES. With Wii's Virtual Console games it would be a perfect opportunity to create a new 2D Mario game.
Andremop
Nintendo should hire this guy. Very nice work. But now I wanna play it...

Retromags Curator E-Day Posted October 18, 2008 Retromags Curator Share Posted October 18, 2008 Well done, but it looks like it would be a horrible 2D game.
dhowerter
NEW 2D MARIO PLATFORMER ON WII WARE NOW, NINTENDO!! ^_^ Please? And yes, that video was very cool. franc
With zelda is the 2 best games for wii
Vega
This game could be done on GBA. It needs both rotating backgrounds and rotating sprites, and SNES couldn't really do the latter without the FX chip.
PS_Mania
Looks ok but I've never seen Mario Galaxy. I suppose I should borrow it for the wii.
