Ebay Usernames Field

I have added a Ebay Username field to everyones profiles. In order to prevent us from bidding against each other, now we have an easy way to search that a Ebay user id doesnt match a Retromags user.

To add your Ebay Username

Click "My Controls" at the top of this page (near the logo)

Scroll down to "Edit Profile Information" (on the left hand side)

Scroll down to "Ebay User name" and enter your Ebay User name

To Search Ebay User Ids

Click on "Members" at the top of this page (near the logo)

Click "Toggle More Options" (top right hand corner)

Scroll down to "Ebay User Name" and enter the user name you wish to search for

This is not saying that if you enter your Ebay User name that other members on this forum will not bid against you....but hopefully they wont

The problem with this is that eBay doesn't let you see who the bidder is anymore. every bidder now appears as x***x, x being a random number or letter.

Is anyone here bidding on the January 1990 issue of GamePro? If not, I will give it a go.

I have it already for bidding......I am the top bidder......when did they start this crap ....grrrr

They've done it for a while when bids went over a certain amount. They started doing it all the time last week I think. Too many forums where members don't bid against each other, I think.

Nah, that's all right. I already have the complete set, so I got those covered. :grin:

You can see here which magazines we already have. (well, more or less as it's not 100% up to date)
