Egm Issue 1 Indicates It Is Actually Issue 2?

I always found this issue kind of confusing because of this. Does anyone know what came before it? Was it one of their buyer's guides or something?

Yes it was the 1989 Buyers gude, but we consider that issue 0

Go to Magweasel.com and look up EGM , you will see that this is issue 1 and the buyers guide is 0
