I Might Be Sitting On A Magazine Goldmine!

I have bookoos of mags in storage. Most of which are GamePro, EGM and Maximum PC.

I have most, if not all of the old PCXL (PC Accelerator) mags as well.

I also have some VideoGames mags from the early days of Mortal Kombat.

What's bad about it is my mom is threatening to throw away all of that stuff. Which really sucks.

How would I scan this enormous collection of mags and share em with you guys. I really don't want all of these to go to the dump forever :(

Where do you live? We might be able to send over a retromags rep to your house and help "remove" the magazines Either that, or give a general list of what years for what mags and we can probably foot the bill for fedexing them to the site's scanners.

Talk to the ops at this board if nothing else. I'm sure something can be arrange.

I threw away all my old EGM's + more about 2 years before I found such a robust community online. Wish I had them back now, as I know somebody would be interested in rare/missing issues.

You could even put together a list and post on eBay. People from this site (and others) scan eBay for just such listings.

I had a lot of old Nintendo Power mags, including the opening issues, but I think my mom threw them away. That really sucked when I found that out. I also had these old electronic mags but don't know what happened to those.

Pity really.
