I don't play them at all, lol. If I play games, it's PC games or I play the console games on my PC using other means ;).

Most of them? Around 30. Besides playing the occasional NES or SNES game on my PC I really don't play them often. I'm way too backed up on PS2, PS3, and Wii games to find time to replay classics. There are a handful on SNES and PS1 I'd like to go through again someday. Plus a number of old games I never finished which I might want to complete.

Actionmax

Atari 2600

Commodore 128

Colecovision

Dreamcast

Nin DS

GBA SP

GC

Genesis

Intellivision

MAME PC (built myself for emulators)

N64

NES

Odyssey 2

Radio Shack TRS-80 and 2 other old computers I forget the names to.

Gamegear

Gameboy

GBA

Nomad

PS1

PS2

PS3

PSP

Saturn

I don't really have a ton of true retro machines, as I didn't really have the privilege of growing up on them. But I do have and still play:

Atari 2600

NES

Gameboy, Color, Advance

SNES

SEGA Genesis

SEGA CD

SEGA Saturn

Nintendo 64

Playstation

Nothing special or out of the ordinary, really. I didn't add newer consoles(128-bit and up).

The usual stuff:

NES

SNES

N64

GC

GBC

GBA-SP

GBA-Micro

Game Axe

PS1

PS2

PSP

X-box

Nomad

DC

I think that's it...also have a Wii and PS3. I play the GBAs and PSP daily. I'm thinking of hooking up the N64 again. The PS2 and X-box are hooked up and I do play them regularly. I considered myself strictly a retrogamer until I bought infamous for the PS3. Now, I'm looking to get more PS3 and Wii games. I fired up Super Mario Galaxy last night for the first time in months...if not a year...still stuck on 76 stars. I had hoped to get all 120, but I may just finish it before then.

OMG, how come some of you guys have so many!?

I have:

Mega Drive

Super Nintendo

Playstation (2 of them actually)

Nintendo 64

Playstation 2 (though I don't consider this retro)

I've played the PSone in the last year, and the SNES in the past, err, 5! Aint played anything since they were actually part of the current gen.

Aint played PS2 in a while, I play most retro stuff on PC!

Easy, you buy them, play them, and keep them instead of resell. I did sell a few games back in the day, only regretting one or two which I managed to find again. The cool part about my collection is that I don't buy games to pad the numbers. I intend to complete or at least play all that I have. And everything works last I checked, the only questionable ones being the Actionmax, Sinclair, and TI99.

I always regret selling any of my 'retro' game stuff or trading things in to EB/GS. I should have never traded them anything, those rip-off artists.

Now I have a daughter and I hope to raise her on them, though not as often played as I did as a kid, I got pretty lazy for a while, there.

Lets see:

NES (2: one for play and one for backup)

SNES

PSOne w/LCD screen attachment

Odyssey2 (CIB, still smells like 1978)

Atari VCS

Genesis (Genesis 2 design)

Sega CD (the front loader)

Neo Geo Pocket Color (Neo Turf Masters is sooo much fun)

Gameboy Color

Gameboy Advance

Dreamcast (the system is feel-good retro!)

Sega Saturn (chipped with toggle switch)

Turbografx 16

Turbo CD addon (not the cool one, mind you)

Upright Arcade converted to MAME (will play more once I overhaul the wiring in the CP)

386x (for those great DOS games like TIE Fighter)

I play the NGPC still, as well as my NES and Dreamcast. Most of the others I emulate on my DS (SNES, Gen, VCS, GB, GBC, Turbo) and the PSX on my PSP. The Odyssey2 doesn't see much action these days (overplayed the games in 2001), and the Saturn as well, but only because the only game I still own is Bug!. I'm just waiting for Sega CD and Saturn emulation on the PSP and I'll be in hog heaven.

Wow, everyone has such a robust collection.

How many of you are married with kids? If you are, your spouse is really cool.

I have an Odyssey 2, NES, GBA and DS

I also have a Commodore 64 and Apple IIgs

This was after much arguing.

What I really want console-wise is a mint Atari 2600.

For computers I want Atari 800XL, RadioShack CoCo2, TI994A and most of all Amiga500.

Wow I'm really impressed and seriously jealous of all the brilliant retro console's that my fellow retromags member's have collected.

The console's that I currently own include: Sega Mega Drive II, Playstation and N64. I also have a Playstation 2 and Xbox but I don't really think of them as retro console's, at least not yet. So my collection is pretty small but in my defence I have had to sell other console's in the past to fund my video game habit. I used to own a Snes, an original gameboy, a gameboy colour and a gameboy advance and of course now I regret ever having to sell them and all their games.

At least there is one advantage to not currently having a lot of console's. I can look forward to all the cool console's that I will hopefully be able to buy in the future. Top of the list is a Sega Saturn which I really want. All those great first party Sega games and Capcom fighter's and of course Night's, can't wait.

I still play all of my retro console's pretty regularly but the Mega Drive is the one I play the most. Hopefully sometime in the future I will also by playing a Saturn, a Snes , a Neo Geo, a Sega CD, a PC Engine etc. Just thinking about these great console's bring's a big smile to my face. :D

My Retro game console collection isn't what it used to be. I've still got an old Brick model Game Boy, and a NES and a Genesis which I can't hook up to my TV because I don't have the right cables. I'm strongly considering getting the NES/SNES combo unit that's on ThinkGeek - as that one's got Composite and S-Video hookups.
