Hey all, my name's Josh, and I'm soon to be a graduate student for a long time at Arizona State University, getting both my MBA and my law degree.

So, I'm new to this site and hoping that I can find Official Dreamcast Magazines scans to download. Can someone help me get started?

Hello everyone,

I'm a 23 year old college student, aspiring to be a game designer when I grow up. :whistling: I've played games since 1985 (Anyone remember the TRS-80?) And, nearly wet my pants in 1996 when I discovered Nesticle. I'm a right-brain-left-brain kind of person with a wide variety of interests in both arts and sciences (I compose music and write code). I've become a collector of games and game related stuff and came across this site through a public torrent tracker with the huge nintendo power release. I partly justify my file-sharing habits by viewing myself as a librarian :) And, someday hope to see a library/museum/archive-thing of game related stuff surface. Anyway, I dig the retromags intentions with scanning old video game mags and hope to contribute what I can in the future.

Favorite quote: "He is no fool who gives up what he cannot keep, to gain what he cannot lose."

Hey I'm 22 and from North Carolina. Game Players magazine used to be a short 3 hour drive from my house, but I was too short to get a license when I was 10. I ended up never going, and then they moved office to CA with the rest of the gang. :(

Now that I'm older, I don't feel a surprise visit to their office would be worth giving up my :cough: maturity :cough:.

Hey all. I can't remember how I got here, but it had something to do with checking out Cowering's Goodtools leading to here leading to Gay-Porn (which I'd like to be a part of, but I need an invite it seems).

I originally got in to console gaming way back as a youngster with my family's Atari 2600. When I finally got a NES for Christmas, I was hooked for life. I begged for a subscription to Nintendo Power, like my friend had, to keep up with the latest on games. My first issue was the first of their third year (Vol 13 - the SMB3 guide), and later I renewed to get the first 4 Player's Guides for free. I also back ordered issues 1-12 to complete my collection to that point. I also have a few non NP magazines/guides that looked interesting at the time.

Later on I acquired a gameboy and finally bought myself a SNES with money from my first job. I stopped getting NP after issue 60 for lack of time/money/interest. I had gotten my first computer and gotten heavily in to keeping up with the latest software and games/guides for that. I have have as many or more computer games and guides than my original console collection. Once I discovered the internet, online faqs, and emulation, I stopped buying printed guides. A few years ago, I also traded my neglected Nintendo systems and games for a brand new PS2 and a couple games.

I still have most of my magazine collection, which in good shape. Issues 13-24 of NP are heavily worn from heavy usage, issue 49 went mysteriously missing years ago, and a few issues are damaged from meddling nephews and nieces - a couple torn (or nearly shredded) pages and a missing back cover. Also, my Mario Mania Player's guide was torn apart and tossed, but for some strange reason I still have page 167-8.

I've been meaning to recollect issue 49, the damaged NPs, and Mario Mania for years but never have gotten around to searching. I was thinking I could get some leads here or at Gay-Porn.

Hi, my name is Aaron I'm 25 and an airmen in the AirForce. I'm an Avionics Systems Apprentice for the F-16. I started off as a kid playing a Magnavox Odyssey? then the NES after that the SuperNES. But I really did get into video game until 1996 when I got an Atari Jaguar. After that I went crazy and got almost every system I could find. From the Neo Geo to PSX. I even have a CDi. My favorite mag of the time was Next Gen and Ultra Game Player.

Hi all,

I'm Chris, 25 years old and an old-school NES gamer. I've been away from games for over 10 years, but the Virtual Console has reawakened my interest in older Nintendo.

Hey I'm David and I've been a fan of games from the 90s - particularly SNES and Sega Genesis, and eventually N64 and PSX. It's what I grew up on.
