Does anybody know what mag has the preview for Gauntlet (N64 version) I'm not sure if its gamepro or EGM. I think it was published around late 1998 or early 1999.

I can look in my archives and see what I can find, this is one of my favorite games/franchises that I think is way underxplored. Sometimes I just wanna hack and slash, and this game does it straightforward. I wonder if there are any others out there nowadays like this...without all the puzzles etc.

Could she be talking about Gauntlet Legends? That was released on the 64 back in the late '90s. :)

I bought Gauntlet:Legends for the PS2 and it sat on my shelf for a long time. I played through it and really enjoyed it. Retro Gamer has an issue with Gauntlet as a cover story.

Avoid Gauntlet: Seven Sorrows at all costs. I'm still curious about Gauntlet IV for Genesis, but the last time I tried it on an emu, it was too slow.
