ID late 80s PC game buying guide

Help me jog my memory here.

Many moons ago, I would say '88 or '89, I bought a PC gaming guide, that was more magazine-ish. Each page showed a screenshot & a blurb on the right 1/3rd, describing the game. It wasn't a review or anything, just info about the game. Yes, all these were DOS games.

I wish I could find it again, since it was a fun read about all these old DOS games. Anyone know what I'm talking about? I'm assuming it was done by a magazine publisher doing a special one-off "just show me the dang games" issue.

I think that might be the one. Maybe not exactly that one, but an earlier edition. Wish I could see a page or two on the auction.
