My netbook won't boot

I have an Acer netbook that's only a couple of months old, yesterday I awoke from a nap to see that it had evidently rebooted itself (as it does when it's downloaded a Windows update), but this message was on the screen:

Client mac addr: 0026 22 87 F5 A9 guid: 4BF7DD2A-0AD9-6159-AEDA-00262287F5A9 PXE-E53 no boot filename received

And then it asks me to insert a boot disk and press any key. I don't have a bootdisk, or a disc drive. Two USB ports though. So what do I do to get my netbook to work again, all my files are on it.

I have an Acer Aspire one that had a boot problem. On Acer's support site, you can make a USB boot disk that fixes any startup issues(probably involving partioning). I think that's what I did. There was also some key sequence(can't remember off hand) on startup that can help.

An update: the netbook was searching for a network during boot, once I switched that off in the system start menu, it took a couple of reboots for the netbook to start a system repair, and it has since booted properly until today, when it had gone on standby, and when I tried switching it back on, there was a blue error screen, and I had to wait for it to reboot, during which I had to pick the "delete restoration data" option in order to get the netbook to reboot properly. Now I´ve ordered a 32 gig USB drive, so that I´ll at least be able to do a backup of the computers files.

Go to Power Manager and disable hibernation and sleep mode. Also make sure you clean your OS (use CCleaner to remove 'crap' files and clean registry) and make sure that you run Defraggler after you done. (It is free and much better then Windows defrag utility). Also I suggest getting real external HD for backup purpose. They are cheap now, and gives you an extra protection. (not just to protect your files, but OS as well)

Another thing that I suggest to everyone having netbook is to get external DVD. With external DVD you can always boot computer using Ubuntu installation disc (free) without installing OS. This way you can get your files even if OS wont boot.

Just last weekend I did this for one of my friends, and after I got him his pictures he gave me his old PC (Dell Pentium IV with 2.6GHz processor) :) (Guess this is something like early Christmas present. :))
