Amazing! Ready to blow up a grand for your PS3? Available now for pre-order on play.com for european customers. This will be the death knell. A grand. You can buy two 360's and two wii's instead of one PS3. How in the world can they claim that their system is better than 4 consoles. Losers.

Now that I have an HDTV the PS3 is somewhat more tempting but if possible I'd still like to wait for the format war to play itself out. I just shelled out $165 for a new HD upscaling DVD player. Check it out HERE. I'm also planning on buying a Wii. I just don't have $600+ to dedicate to a video game system. I wonder how many people DO have that much money to spend on a new system.

... and to add some drama to the whole thing, Sony's Blu-Ray player keeps getting pushed back, now to October. It sounds as if they're gonna push the PS3 as their ONLY Blu-Ray player or the only way people can get their hands on this stuff from Sony.

That's one way to move a console, sell it to people who won't ever buy a game. :P
