retrogamer32 0 Posted April 16, 2012 I started downloading many Nintendo Power magazines in PDF format before MegaUpload went down. Unfortunately, I only got a chance to get around 20 to 30 of them. I was wounding if there is any other way to get Nintendo Power Issues in PDF format. If there are any torrents or any way I can do to get a hold of these issues. Someone help
E-Day 4,962 Posted April 17, 2012 You can always download the issues in CBR format and then create PDFs out of them. I do not intend on having PDFs submitted to the site again at this time. KiwiArcader might have the issues in PDF since he is a big PDF supporter.
KiwiArcader 558 Posted April 17, 2012 I have the Nintendo Power files up to 110 converted to PDF format and have them on my Rapidshare account but I will be out of the country on holiday until late May so won't be in a position to get them online at OGM until after I get back. There's always been some reticence on the part of Retromags management to host PDF's as they prefer the CBR format and that is perfectly fine. I am more than happy to champion the PDF format
KiwiArcader 558 Posted April 18, 2012 If All the issues Nintendo Magazine System (UK and Australia) were scanned, I'll be able to download them. You know what you need to do then don't you? That would be buy and scan the mags as most of the readership here are USA based so don't really have access to those mags.
Bablefish 1 Posted February 14, 2013 Besides most E Readers can handle PDF files.
E-Day 4,962 Posted February 15, 2013 I think CBR files were picked as THE format here because they are easy to create, and easy to take apart if someone wants to extract one page. I'm not totally sure because that was decided long before I arrived.
