Why are Hu-Cards so Damn expensive?

Why are PC Engine Hu-Cards so expensive overseas?

I've read that in Japan you can pick up a used PCE for under $40.

If the PCE sold very well in Japan, shouldn't the hu-cards be more affordable? Can anybody confirm this?

I am a die hard PCE/TG16 fan too! yes your right, the PCE can be had for about 40-50$ at used shops in Tokyo. the first model, white PCE wont work on tvs anymore without a modify, but the black core grafx and duos have av outs.

why they are expensive? I dont know, they were always expensive to start, and while it did sell pretty ok in japan, i guess they are still in high demand, except for baseball games that is. the old saying goes, if you really want it, youll pay for it!

eh, i havent paid more than $20 or so for even popular stuff like Devil's Crush, but yeah, PCE ones go for way cheaper on ebay...just pulled a lot of 6 of em for like $15 shipping, and they were all good titles! going region free makes it easier, but Air Zonk & a few others are still way too high.
