I just finished up with the creation of 10,392 URL shortcodes for the magazine database. These shortcodes will allow our members to easily refer to pages on the fly. For example, if you wanted to visit the 100th issue of Nintendo Power, you would need to do the following steps....

  • Come to Retromags
  • Click on the Magazines tab
  • Click on the Nintendo Power link in the USA section
  • Browse to the 4th page and scroll down to issue #100

You would then see that the URL location for Nintendo Power Issue 100 is.....

http://www.retromags.com/magazines/category/usa/nintendo-power/nintendo-power-issue-100

Now that is a pretty long URL to remember, and you might be on another website and want to refer someone back to our new database. With our new URL shortcodes, you can simply type either of the following.....

http://rtmgs.co/np-100

OR

http://rtmgs.com/np-100

Both of these shortcodes will lead you to the correct page, just remember the two to four letter prefix, and the issue number you wish to go to!

Here is a list of URL Shortcodes for our USA section of the Magazine database!
