When will the next major price drop happen?

Every year Gaming consoles and offered at over priced rates for the people who MUST HAVE THEM NOW!!

While others, like myself, would rather wait for a price drop. So another drop just hit 2 days ago, bringing a brand new One to $349. While I am tempted, I can see it dropping to an even $299 by the end of 2015. I can see it being a "Christmas special" of sorts.

For me, it's always about the software. Once enough interesting games are available for the system I'll usually take the plunge instead of waiting for a system price drop.

Not that a good holiday deal won't help persuade me, though.

November is a popular month for console price cuts. But it also looks quite rare to see 2 cuts within the same year.

I think it might be more likely for them to cut the price of their high-end model (which is still at $500), or introduce a new model.

I agree about the price cuts. They will probably not cut it again till 2016. They usually wait a good 3 years to reveal a new model option but then again, so many people opted out on buying it that they are hurting so they might find a way to increase sales.
