Get a PC Engine Duo or Duo-R, along with a Turbo Everdrive. The Japanese systems are much cheaper, and the CD drive is region-free. Look for user Keith Courage on the PCEngineFX.com forums. He sells refurbished systems for much cheaper than what you can find on eBay. His work is excellent, and he's a great person to deal with. Highly recommended.

A refurbished Duo R and an Everdrive will let you play everything but the arcade titles, and there were only a few of those. Why get a refurbished Duo? So you don't have to mail yours out to someone to replace all of the failing capacitors, or if you have the engineering education, do the tiresome job yourself. I just have a TG16 that I got from a yardsale for a Hamilton, and the price that a Turbo CD and accessories for on eBay, UNTESTED, is usually far in excess of the cost of a Duo-R.
