Game Description

Welcome to the most incredible fantasy adventure the world has ever known, brought to life as the ultimate computer program. As Bilbo, the reluctant hobbit, you will find yourself on a wonderful, frightening, magical journey. You, Gandalf the Wizard, and Thorin the dwarf are off to slay the evil dragon and return the treasure he is hoarding. Along the way you will meet trolls and goblins, wizards and elves, Gollum, Bard, and other creatures of Middle-earth. You will visit many incredible places, some familiar, some new and strange, but all exciting.

The Hobbit Software Adventure comes with everything you need to begin your magical adventure. Simply slip the disk into your computer and . . . suddenly, you are Bilbo Baggins, a respectable and normally unadventurous hobbit. Just over the hill is the magical, mystical land of Middle-earth. You must find your way through eighty different locations (illustrated with exceptional-quality graphics) and make your way past dark forests, treacherous mountains, and mysterious dungeons to the cave of the evil Smaug. A special map of Middle-earth is included to aid you in your journey, along with your personal guide to the laws, the lore, and the language of The Hobbit Software Adventure. Glorious frustrations and fabulous adventures await you as you enter J. R.-R. Tolkien's magical world. May you return with many wondrous tales to tell!
