  1. Won! Gamepro Issue 006 Unfortunately we lost the issue of EGM we wanted.....It went for $46 :(
  2. Oh thank you! Yes I do that for EVERY issue of EGM! One of the reasons I was doing PSM is because only like 6 pages in a PSM are un-numbered. I noticed the weird numbering where the Croc foldout was too....I thought maybe I was missing a page? I thought I did this issue because I have 2 piles 1) Need Cheat Sheets 2) Done Cheat Sheet So I took all my #2's home the other day, and started working through them, well I debinded this issue and ended up with 6 missing pages, Now that means that Page 60 is showing up as Scan 54, but then you have to take into effect that the issues cover is NOT page 1, because of that silly dominatrix foldout, The cover is 00A and the inside is 00B. So now you have to figure out how many pages are not scanned. I usually just do one or two word descriptions, glad you did more
  3. I screwed up last night.....I debinded an issue of EGM that I thought I had made a cheat sheet for. Anyways some of the pages got out of order and now I have no way of knowing how the issue went together, unless I either buy another copy or someone on Retromags can tell me the order of the pages.....Basically I need a list of the pages without numbers on either side....The way I do it is to write down something obvious about each page without a number.....So.... If pages 3 and 4 dont have page numbers.....I take Page 3 and write down something memorable about it .... Page 3 = Tekken 3 Ad If it isnt an advertisement, I try to find something unique to that page.....usually words or a picture.... Page 7 = Skull Page 9 = "Win Big" Page 13 = Cheat for SMB3 If anyone can create me a cheat sheet for issue 99 of EGM that would be fantastic.....Its 97% scanned but I need this info to scan the remainder. -Phillyman
  4. I have it already for bidding......I am the top bidder......when did they start this crap ....grrrr
  5. I have added a Ebay Username field to everyones profiles. In order to prevent us from bidding against each other, now we have an easy way to search that a Ebay user id doesnt match a Retromags user. To add your Ebay Username Click "My Controls" at the top of this page (near the logo) Scroll down to "Edit Profile Information" (on the left hand side) Scroll down to "Ebay User name" and enter your Ebay User name To Search Ebay User Ids Click on "Members" at the top of this page (near the logo) Click "Toggle More Options" (top right hand corner) Scroll down to "Ebay User Name" and enter the user name you wish to search for This is not saying that if you enter your Ebay User name that other members on this forum will not bid against you....but hopefully they wont
  6. I have a sub to EGM until 2015  (didnt pay)
  7. Won! This guy was my main reason for winning ......ISSUE 10 OF GAMEPRO!!!!!
  8. As a kid.....what video game magazine did you subscribe to first? I started off with Nintendo Power, My earliest issue that I have was the Duck Tales Issue (008), I kept a subscription with them until Issue 075, In the mean time I had also received Sega Visions (a few issues) and a few issues of EGM, Next Generation and Gamepro......but by far nothing in comparison to my Nintendo Power collection.....I used to be able to sort my Nintendo Powers by the covers alone.....I didn't even need to look at the issue number
  9. Which is there more of a demand for? Do people like the EGM flood we are currently doing? Or would you guys be interested in getting some of the missing Nintendo Power mags uploaded?
  10. I just filled up this morning, $46.84 for a little over 14 Gallons. I think the price per gallon was like $3.27. I looked at my millage and since my last full tank I did 277 Miles. It just keeps getting worse doesn't it? :(
  11. Thats what I was worried about, that it may draw more attention to the auctions and someone may try outbidding us :(
  12. I think maybe next year I will take up a collection for this guy so that I can scan the A3 sized Next Generations, Dreamcast and Official Xbox magazines http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16838115035
  13. Just so you guys have an idea......The 3 auctions Retromags is looking at will run us about $200 all together. So yes every bit helps

  15. Ok Meppi dont make us have an Intervention on you, Surrender the Ebay account now I am selling the 3 Nintendo Power Flash Magazines in my possession tonite to help pay for my auctions. Dont go broke on us now... How much did you get them for? Probably not, I have 2 Dreamcast mags and they are too big for standard scanners, so they need to be scanned and stitched together (very time consuming) Dont mention a A3 scanner to Meppi .....he might buy it :fear:

    Woot!

Welcome Krisse, Scan whatever keeps you interested, Right now I am scanning EGM magazines and Eday_2010 is compiling and releasing them. We are missing a few issues here and there so any holes you can fill would be a TREMENDOUS help. I use a program called Omnipage 16 and scan with that, I am using a Canon scanner that scans both sides of the page. I am in the middle of redoing the Wiki Guide on how to compile the .CBR files at the moment. But if you want to know where the holes reside in the EGM collection.....Just check out this link (if its green we have a copy) http://retromags.com/wiki/index.php?title=Acquired_Issues EDIT: Omnipage has a great editing program to deskew pages so that they are straight, and they also have a great cropping tool, I usually use that program first, and then run the scans through IrFanView to batch resize them down and give them a standardized naming convension
  18. Big Thanks to Wildlele for contributing $20 towards these auctions
