I am posting a link for GameGo! issue #2. I hope this helps the site out.

It is a straight download from the companies, now defunct, website so I have no idea how I would word the downloaded from section of the text file.

Anyhow, it is here for whomever wants to convert it from PDF over to regular JPG's and finish whatever necessary editing needs to be done to it.

It seems there are very few arcade games produced nowadays (anybody know of any recent ones?). No doubt this is because of the success and rapid technological advancement of home consoles. It's not quite the same experience though...

Being this a video game magazine website I'm sure you've all read the ads and reviews for a game before you got it and it was super hyped up and was sure to be the best game you ever played.

So my question is what game were you so excited to get and then you finally got it and it turned out to not be as fun as you thought it should be.

Mine was Silent Service, it is a decent game that I think i'd enjoy more nowadays, but back then games like Super Mario Brothers and Spy Hunter were my thing, so Silent Service seemed too slow of a game than I thought it would be.

I actually liked Silent Service. One of the games I was most disappointed with was Heroes of the Lance. This game sucked. Both of these were played on a Commodore 64 and I can see how things might be different on other platforms.

F-Zero was the first (and maybe only) SNES game I was really, really good at.

The first RPG I played (and beat) was Pool of Radiance on the Commodore 64. I loved that game...

I don't watch any recent shows enough to call any my favorites but The Sarah Connor Chronicles and Fringe have some promise...

I'm thinking about voting Libertarian this time. Not to sound cynical, but my vote isn't going to count for much anyway. I live in California and its pretty much a given that the CA electoral college votes will go to Obama

I'm thinking about voting Libertarian also (or possibly one of the other 3rd party candidates). I don't feel there is any significant difference between the two major candidates. Both want to spend (and tax) way too much. I tend to vote republican because they are supposed to be the party of small government, low taxes, not trying to police the world and so on. However, the Republican party hasn't been coming through on these issues in a long time. I don't want to vote Democrat because it seems they are becoming more and more socialist all the time and quite frankly, I really don't like the idea of the federal government trying to be my mommy and daddy.

I know that there is no 3rd party candidate that has a chance of winning, but if enough people vote 3rd party, it will send a message and possibly pave the way for a 3rd party candidate to win in the future. To me, having the first non-democrat, non-republican president (in a long, long time anyway) is far more important than having the 1st woman, 1st black or any other 1st I can think of for president.

Both candidates claim they are the candidate of change but really neither one is. As long as people think of a vote for a 3rd party candidate as a wasted vote and as long as they instead vote for the lesser of two evils, I doubt there will be any significant positive change.

[censor bypass] does seem to go down from time to time (seems to be up at the moment though) but it is a great site. If I get any invites, I'll offer them up here first.

Born in '75 so roughly the Atari VCS/2600 days. First console was an Atari 2600 Christmas '83 from there it was Commodore 64 (my favorite)->Nintendo->Super Nintendo->Playstation->Dreamcast-> and most systems since (though I still don't have a Wii yet...)

I'm dating myself here but it is hard for me to think of any console PS1 or later as "retro". Though it may not count as a console, my favorite retro gaming platform is by far the Commodore 64.

I lean towards McCain/Palin over Obama/Biden but I not particularly fond of either one. I'll probably be voting for Bob Barr but we'll see...
