Hello everyone. I just discovered Retromags a few weeks ago. I have been gaming since I played Donkey Kong on the Coleco Vision about the time the NES was about to dominate. I prefer what people seem to call retro-gaming. I have not gotten into the current generation of gaming so well so I am going back and trying to play all those games my parents did not buy me when I was young.
I found the site while looking for old Nintendo Powers so I could play some old NES games using only what we had at the time... Kind of silly to espouse the use old-school magazines as my source for beating these old games over the use of the internet and then use the internet to get a look at the magazines. I just did not want to use online walkthroughs preferring to maybe just get a hint here and there and do most of it by myself.
I have never collected video-game mags before. I did have some old strategy guides but sold them on ebay. I am trying to get back in financial situation where I can take up collecting games again though. I would like to own some of the classics on NES complete with box and manual.
