  1. It looks pretty good, but I don't have the money for one right now. I'll just have to be satisfied with my awesome PS3 slim and my library of 30+ games.
  2. Just watched the entire first season (which equals nine episodes) and I loved it! Those of you that haven't seen the last episode will be pleased as punch when you do. I'm so glad Phillyman turned me on to this series. It's definitely better and more creative than half the rubbish you see on T.V. Speaking of which, I barely watch T.V. anymore. Most of the shows I've watched have been off the air for at least several years. Anyway, I can't wait to see season two. I already have some ideas as to what it might hold. Keep watching, guys. We gotta keep stuff like this alive and well.
  3. I think the Wii U will do well. I was impressed by it and I think the Wii U's touchpad is better than the PSVita. I am pretty excited to see how far Nintendo is going to take the the system and its peripherals. I think the Wii U's multiplayer is going to be pretty awesome. I'm going to get a PS 4 and Wii U if possible. I don't expect too much innovation from Sony's and Microsoft's upcoming offerings, just much more power maybe better peripherals. The Wii U will wow. Nintendo rarely disappoints. Even it's failures are successes compared to other companies.
  4. LMAO.This is awesome! I love how the money flies out of guy on the roof when the "captain" kicks him off. This is really interesting and hilarious. I can't wait to see more of it. I feel like playing MW3 now.
  5. Meh. Can't say I agree with some of the titles in the top fifty, but I guess it's OK. I mean Goldeneye is an epic- and I mean EPIC multiplayer game, but I don't think it should be in the top seven. And no Resident Evil 2 at all? And how can they put Super Mario 64 @ 41? Super Mario 64 revolutionized the 3D platformer! I'm going to stop reading before my blood pressure goes up further.
  6. Can't partake of that. I would LOVE to, but I can't. I already had a lousy weekend with food constantly being shoved in my face [sarcasm] and my increasing lethargy. I barely managed to have a complete workout week this week past and now this? I bet the bacon is damn crunchy and that sweet, sweet ice cream looks soooooooo good. Speaking of outrageous food, any of you guys watch Epic Meal Time? The dishes they make are sicker than a sick person.
  7. I know you are aware of this already, bro, but I can't go to sleep tonight without letting you know how horrible what you did was. I mean I feel like making you a time machine JUST so you could go back and beat the crap out of your younger self, or better yet, I could back in time and simply steal all of your N64 paraphernalia. Yeah, I like that plan better. I would benefit way more personally.
  8. http://www.videogamecentral.com/product_images/x/215/ps1-fighting-force__91389_zoom.jpg http://www.gameosaurus.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/tutlesnes.jpg http://mediabreach.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/SOR20.jpg I spent HOURS playing these.
  9. Man, the N64 controller was perfect for shooters. It almost single handedly brought back the joystick/thumbstick. I think people forget how revolutionary the N64 and its accessories were. Nowadays, almost all I see is people dissing the N64 controller and talking smack about the system's muddy textures and foggy graphics. Hurt gamer is hurt. :-( Anyway console rant over, back to classic controllers. The NES controller was also epic. It was so simple and comfortable (and so was the SNES controller). The PS1 controller was ok, but the three best in my opinion would be the NES, N64 and SNES controllers. Nintendo bias much?
  10. Man, you guys make me look and feel horrible. All I've bought thus far is an N64 controller and a couple GCN games. I use PJ64, so I went ahead and bought a classic grey N64 controller (used) and a USB adapter. I feel oh so inadequate. One of these days I'm going to purchase another N64 and get my hands on a Dreamcast. One of my buddies has one, now that I think about. I don't think he'll mind me taking it off my hands. I've gotta have something just in case my PS3 dies on me. It's been shutting off enough recently.
  11. I have replayed Zelda: OoT and Majora's Mask over and over again. They're just that awesome. I've also played through RE 2 and RE 3 several times and they were just as awesome and ground breaking as I remembered them being. A few of the other titles I've replayed include: Crash B.: Warped, Banjo Kazooie, Banjo Tooie, RE 4, Jet Moto, Super Mario 64, Super Mario Bros. 3 and Super Mario World. These games are just so much fun and I know them so well. It's almost an intimate connection I share with them. I'm sure many people will agree with the titles I've identified.
  12. No. Far from it. The gaming industry is continuing to grow financially. I would say that gaming innovation and originality is at an all time low, but I blame consumers who only want to buy certain types of games. Some of the most original video games are often the least popular.
  13. I used google. I was looking for retro magazines available for download- well at first I was just searching old EGM covers from the late 1990's, then I searched for entire issues and came across this oasis in the desert. This site is an awesome means of satiating my nostalgia and escapism for me. There's almost nothing as great as reading about the debuts of retro systems, pictures and all.
  14. This seems too idiotic to be legit. I love gaming to death and Skyrim, but that's simply disturbing. There's no way that guy can function in real life when he gets started with his "marathons". He'd better do his damndest to ensure he stays single and childless. I mean look at all that crap he ate. He might die of a stroke or heart attack before he's 30 if he keeps this up.
  15. 1. Ocarina of Time 2. RE 2 3. Majora's Mask 4. Meta Gear Solid 5. RE 3
  16. RE 2 RE 3 RE 1 Metal Gear Solid Dino Crisis Ape Escape Spider-Man Fighting Force (I know it hasn't held up well but I loved it back in the day.) Crash Bandicoot: Warped Mortal Kombat: Mythologies: Sub-Zero Honorable Mention: Syphon Filter, Jet Moto, Mortal Kombat III, Pandemonium 2.
  17. Jet Force Gemini, easily. How we made it this far without a remake or updated version is beyond me. I'd also like a remake of RE2, arguably the greatest survival horror game ever.
  18. Hell, yeah. I grew up between the 8 bit to 64 bit generation. I was still a teen during the early part of the sixth generation, but I didn't own a sixth gen system until I was nineteen. I was pretty damn broke back in those days and my social life was taking away from my interest in gaming somewhat. But growing up with the NES, SNES, Genesis, PS1, N64 and PS2 was pretty friggin' sweet. Those days were beyond epic and always fill me with warmth.
  19. Must...buy...classic...consoles...

  20. I sold my PS1 in tenth grade and practically gave away my sweet, sweet N64 *sniff* *sniff*. The horrible thing is that I gave my N64 to a "friend" I didn't even like when I was in college. Man, if I had a time machine, I would slap my past self for even thinking about doing either of those things. If I'm ever single and without kids, I'm buying myself a mint N64, PS1, PS2, SNES, and Sega Genesis (well, maybe not mint ;-)) from ebay. I mean, emulators are awesome, but there's nothing like playing a classic console on an old 32 inch CRT monitor.
  21. Technically, my PS3 (fat) was the first console I BOUGHT. My mom bought an NES back in 1992. It was my first system and started my never-ending love affair with gaming. It came with a copy of Super Mario Bros. 3. I played the life out of that thing. Anyone replaying through any classic games currently?
  22. Hello, again. I'm a huge fan of retro gaming and retro gaming mags. They take me back to a more innocent and arguably exciting time in gaming history. I've been gaming for nearly 20 years and I don't plan to stop anytime soon. Umm...on an unrelated note, it seems as though I was deleted from this site because this is my second time registering with the same account. I posted like five times made a donation, downloaded two magazines and a day later I couldn't log back into this site to save my life. What's up with that?
