I loved Bad Dudes. I have so many memories playing that game in the arcades. Some of my other favourites are Robocop, X-Men and WWF Wrestlefest. There was also this racing game I used to love playing where you could control the car with a steering wheel. I forgot the name of that game. It was from the 80's. I'm going to have to google that up.
In my teens I got into Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, Killer Instinct, Art of Fighting, Fatal Fury and some other fighters. It was all about the fighting games for me between 92-98.
I miss the arcade days. It was a special time. There is this one arcade place called Playdium in Mississauga, Canada. They got a bunch of old school and new arcade cabinets there. My friends and I go there at least once a year to relive our arcade days

My earliest memory was playing Pitfall on the Atari 2600. I never owned the system but played it at a friend's house back in 84 or 85.

I recently beat Resident Evil Code Veronica X for the PS2. Resident Evil is one of my favourite game franchises and I really that classic horror feel the old games had. I beat Resident Evil 1-3 about a month ago. The next game I'm going to play is Resident Evil 0. Can't wait for that

Mortal Kombat is my favourite to date.

Thanks for this scan and all your hard work Sean697!

I also agree MK2 is the best out of the bunch. It was a nice upgrade for each character to have 1 extra fatality plus all those friendships and babalities and hidden characters. I think the UMK3 update improved MK3 a lot. Loved the new outworld type stages and extra characters. Personally I like the 3D ones too. One of my buddies and I still play Deception and Armageddon to this day.

Top 10 (not in order):
Castlevania 3
Ninja Gaiden
Super Mario Bros.
Contra
Blades of Steel
Super Mario Bros. 3
Castlevania
Legend of Zelda
Final Fantasy
Metroid

The Adventures of Batman & Robin was one of the few games on the Genesis I could never beat when I was younger. That game was frustrating. And Streets of Rage 3. I played that game on Hard so I could get the good ending. I could never get past the Stage 2 boss. Drove me nuts. I think that's why I love Streets or Rage 2 so much lol

1. Shinobi 4
2. Streets of Rage 4
3. Golden Axe (4? not sure about the numbering)
4. Capcom vs. SNK 3
5. World Heroes 4

I would love to see some Genesis classics remade like Shinobi 3 - Return of the Ninja Master, Streets of Rage 2, Golden Axe, Phantasy Star 2 & 4 and Sonic 1 - Knuckles. It would be nice to see the games retain their 2D style but completely redrawn stages in HD.
-
Stage 4 theme in Shinobi 3 - Return of the Ninja Master for the Genesis/Megadrive. One of my favourite video game themes ever. Also love those Street Fighter 2 themes as mentioned above and some Sonic themes like Chemical Plant, Flying Battery, Ice Cap, Sky Sanctuary and Sonic & Knuckles boss themes.

I replay Sonic 1,2,3 and Knuckles at least once a year. The Genesis was the first console I ever owned. I have fond memories playing games on that system. I'm a fan of classic fighting games too so I tend to play games from the Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, KOF and other NeoGeo fighters at least 3 or 4 times a year.

Great lists guys. My personal favorites and not in particular order are:
Resident Evil 2
Resident Evil 3
Syphon Filter 1
Capcom vs SNK Pro
Metal Gear Solid
Silent Hill
Street Fighter EX2 Plus
Final Fantasy 7
Mortal Kombat Trilogy
Spider-Man

I notice on the top right hand corner of the screen I have a certain amount of credits. What are these credits? Are there any advantages of having these credits or adding to them?

Thanks for sharing Melki

Great news! Now we can finally read some mags covering the Dreamcast era! Just a question though would GamePro be considered one of the defunct magazines since it stopped its publication back in 2011 or 2012? And thanks again to you and E-day for uploading more classic GamePro magazines. This site is getting more exciting as days go by. I will be sending another donation soon. Thanks for all your hard work and effort guys

Other than the new look and format for the Retromags 2.0, I'm not sure if there is going to be any difference in terms of the number of magazines that will available at the time of launch. Phillyman has stated that 800-900 magazines will be available at the time of launch. Currently there are 947 magazins available in the Magazines Download section.
Unless there are going to be a lot more new magazines available, more than the 947 currently available, personally I don't think it really matters whether Retromags 2.0 launches now or in 6 months. The 1999 rule hasn't changed either from my understand. So you're basically going to get the same number of magazines that are already currrently available on the site.
If you haven't signed up for a Newshosting account, I highly recommend it. They have a 14-day free trial period. The downloads are extrememly fast. I downloaded all the GamePro, EGM and Game Players magazines in less than an hour. The I cancelled my account. I didn't have to pay a penny in the end. You could download all 947 magazines in probably less than 2 hours. I think 947 mags should keep you until Retromags 2.0 is launched
What were your go to games when Arcades were king?

Hahaha. Yeah I wasn't very specific in my description of that racing game. It was one of the ones you mentioned Super Sprint Spent a lot of quarters on that game back in the day.
