  1. I played quite a few of those back in the day. I spent countless hours trying to beat them. It was all pretty fun though. It gave me something to do. Which is always something good for a kid.
  2. I haven’t been gaming nearly as much as I would like to. I just don’t have the time. I wish I did. As playing video games used to be such a stress reliever for me. I could use that right about now.
  3. I used to play Double Dragon back in the day. I remember when it was in the arcade. I also played it for the NES. Did Bad Dudes have a sequel? I liked playing that game a lot too. It was kind of similar to Double Dragon as it was a fighting game.
  4. Thank you for posting these links. I’ll check them out when I have time. I haven’t had much time to do anything these days. I want to get back to gaming. But, it seems that everything pulls me in another direction.
  5. I’m going to break down and buy a new system one of these days. I just don’t know which one it will be. I’m thinking it’ll be the Nintendo Wii.
  6. It sure was a fun system. The games were fun and the graphics were good. It was a solid game system. None of my friends had one though. Does anyone know how popular this system was compared to the others of its time?
  7. That’s a pretty good idea actually. I think there isn’t enough video game related stuff geared towards kids. This would be a great read for them.
  8. Does anyone really read magazines these days? I get all my information from the internet. I haven’t bought a magazine in so long I can’t remember when it was.
  9. Thank you all for answering my question. I might just get a Wii. I’ve been wanting to get back into gaming for some time. I’ve just not felt like playing those new games. I’m not interested in playing games all day every day. As I have things to do that don’t involve looking at the TV.
  10. I used to like EGM also. I used to go to the arcade and then to the news stand to pick up those magazines. Since they were both pretty close together back in the day.
  11. That game was so much fun to play. That’s one of the few arcade games that I actually wish I owned. I’d love to have enough space to have a mini retro arcade. Maybe some day I will.
  12. I’d say eBay is the way to go. There you can find just about anything. It’s amazing what you can find there. If you can’t find it on eBay it probably doesn’t exist.
  13. This thread brought back memories. I was a kid of the 80’s and Atari was very much a part of my childhood. It seemed so exciting back then. I haven’t played the games in what seems like forever. But, I sure would love to.
  14. It was fun back in the day. I was just a little kid. I was totally amazed by the state of the art technology. It seemed like something from a foreign planet at that time.
  15. I didn’t know this existed. Thank you for posting it. I’m going to give that a try. I used to have so much fun playing those games. Does anyone here remember the game about being a truck driver? You had to tell the computer how fast to go and when you wanted to sleep. The goal was to deliver the shipment on time.
