  1. I wish eBay didn't dictate the market on retro games. There are assholes out there trying to spike the market on the premium titles. Splatterhouse 3 for over $100? Why?!!! I played the hell out of it on the Genesis when I was a kid. It was always at rental stores. It's certainly not rare. And just because the game is good you have to slap on another 80 dollars? Same thing with Little Samson for the NES. Just a few years ago you could get it for literally 80 bucks. And now its $800 dollars on average. Even assholes are trying to sell it for that much with torn labels or marker writing on it. Brick and mortar retro gaming stores across the country are using eBay for their price point as well by going for the highest or average buy it now price. Would make more sense if they went with the sold listings. Screw eBay.
  2. Hello guys, my name is Jake, aka psychopathetica. Im 34 years old and am passionate about gaming, mainly retro gaming. Im a collector, only slightly new to collecting since I only been doing it for about a few years. So I dont have 3000+ games or anything but I do have close to a few hundred since I dont have too much disposable income. I actually have a life, and bills like any other adult. Every other weekend I go game chasing by hit up flea markets, thrift stores, and goodwills to find a couple of games. I tend to stay away from resellers, as well as ebay, and do my best to never pay retail. However the retro gaming scene is not as big in Miami as it is in other places so its difficult to find NES and SNES games. Im also a computer programmer hobbyist. So I never watch tv when Im home. Most of the time when Im home, Im either spending time with my wife, gaming, or coding. I also used to have a bunch of gamepros and nintendo powers when I was a kid, which brought me to this site.
  3. I also would be interested in listening to a retro gaming podcast if you made one. I already listen to one all the time with pat the NES punk and Ian.
  4. Retro will never die. The games still remain fun 20-30 even 40 years later. As long as new generation of gamers are introduced or even aware of games from the past, and as long as the internet shows love for retro, which they do, it will forever be played.
  5. My top 15 hardest NES games: Dragon's Lair Super C Ghost & Goblins Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Silver Surfer Mega Man Street Fighter 2010: The Final Fight Castlevania 3 Dracula's Curse Ninja Gaiden Metal Gear Fester's Quest Batman Return of the Joker The Adventures of Bayou Billy Wizards & Warriors: Ironsword Double Dragon 3
  6. Mr. Gimmick deserves not only a sequel, but also deserves to be featured in Super Smash Bros. as well as an Amiibo. It was the greatest NES game ever made that never made it to the US, and was only featured late in the NES's life in Scandinavian PAL territories as well as Japan.
  7. If she rubbed it between her cleavage, I'd buy it now in a heart beat even though I already have them complete in box
