  1. Thank you so much for uploading this! This issue probably seems unremarkable to most, but it's a special one to me. I was obsessed with Mortal Kombat clones in the 90's and sought out coverage of them anywhere I could. This particular issue had a full preview of Tattoo Assassins, which was an especially shameless and raunchy MK clone that was somewhat infamously cancelled. An arcade employee that I had befriended at the time lent me this issue when I had mentioned the game to him and remembered the preview in EGM2. As far as I know the was the only such coverage of the game in any American magazine outside of a short write-up in an earlier issue of EGM, and I would read over this preview several times a day. At the time I didn't even know that the game had been cancelled; I just figured it never came to my local arcades for one reason or another. I would find out many years later online that the game had achieved something of a cult status as an unreleased curio, culminating with me writing an entry for it on Unseen64 a year or so ago. Until this upload I could never find scans of this issue online anywhere. So thanks again for preserving it.
  2. Hey everyone. I just logged back into the site after probably a few years away, and I had to reset my password to do so. After I logged into the site itself, I tried to download this issue: The problem I'm running into is this: when clicking on any direct download link on the site, I'm prompted to log into seedbox. I try the username/PW that I'm using to log into Retromags.com, but it's not working. What am I missing when it comes to direct downloads? Is there a separate login? Did my password reset cause some kind of de-sync issue between my Retromags credentials and the seedbox ones? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  3. Thanks to everyone in this thread for putting in the work to preserve what was in my opinion the best PC-centric gaming magazine to ever grace US store shelves. Sure, it took a crude Maxim-esque approach that oftentimes came off as a little "tryhard," but they put together some really funny and interesting feature articles and had a style all their own. The day that the final issue with the black cover showed up at my local bookstore was a sad one indeed. At least they had enough lead time before the end to make a proper final issue.
