    I don't think as an industry, video games is dying. Not by a long shot. You see everywhere people are playing games, either on mobile phone or console. It will keep reinventing itself to accommodate the consumers.

    The last Metal Gear game I played was MGS 4. Fun game but i didn't really follow the story. Haven't tried MGS5 yet, gonna need a ps4 for that.

    As do my kids. They love the older games, it may doesn't have all the nifty graphics but the gameplay and hearts put on the story still somehow clicked with the younger generations.

    my first ever game i played was super contra on the famicom/nes. My cousin brought the console over to my house.

    Hi guys, lalilulelo here. If you are a fan of metal gear solid you'll get that reference. Nice forum u got here glad i found it. I love collecting videogames mags, especially EGM, EGM2, and nowadays I collect guide books and art books to.

    does fighting games count? Heh. The last game i truly finish was new super mario bros u on the wii u. fun games, takes me back on the nostalgia train. hahha

    for older games i prefer physical just for the nostalgia factors. But newer games especially those simpler type puzzle games, digitals is ok with me.

    currently playing mobile on may PS vita and my android phone, usually some older gen emulator during some time off.

    U can use an external 2.5" Harddisk to add storage space though. But then it at extra cost, which sucks. BTW, my NNID is either sir.qrtz or qrtz_ . Forgot which one. Will confirm later.

    Last console bought was the Wii U back in 2014. Planning on getting a PS4 once i completed my MBA. Nowadays i buy games and console just for kicks, and seeing the joy my kids in playing them because i was sure doesn't have any time to play 'em. Nowadays I simply checking youtube vodeogaming videos channel if i feel a tinge of nostalgia, haha.

    THis is old news but still coll in my book. Imagine what would happened if they actually did collaborated. I bet the videogames industry would still be booming but on a slower rate without the 'playstation' effect.

    nowadays my old consoles stayed in the storage, what with the older tv connection and all and the mess i will have in case anything happens to them, i'll just whipped out the emulator on my phone.

    being a kids with no worries about the world, nothing at all. Just the thought of having new games to play with your family and friends. The mall arcades, wow. Where i'm from arcades used to be illegal for minors to go to, this was back in the 80's and early 90's before the started opening those family arcade type. Arcade used to be kinda seedy place where people will play snooker/pool and drinks beer. We kids used to hang out at the corner where the put all the arcade games and the adults will leave us a lone even when we are not supposed to be there. There was some close call with the cops or some gangs but it was all parts of the experience i guess. We kids did a lot of stupid thing when we were young.

    when i was a kid playing castlevania on the NES, dracula and all those monsters scared the shit out of me. Had to get my uncle to play it for me, hehehhe.

    Oh wow! this takes me back. Let see, Famicom - Legend of kage, played until the power adaptor blow up. Megadrive - Sonic (packed in) Playstation - Street fighter the movie, HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Playstation 2 - Devil May Cry, heck yeah! Playstation 3 - Little big planet (bought it for the kids) Gameboy color - Wario (not sure which one) Gameboy advance SP - Astro boy, great game. Gamecube - Super Mario Sunshine, a bit weird but fun Wii - Wii sport, of course Wii U - New Super Mario Bros Man, all those manhours lost on these games, hahahah.

    My list of played console, hmm, Famicom (asian NES) Megadrive 1 & 2, (asian genesis) Playstation 1, 2 & 3 Dreamcast Gamecube, Gameboy color, Gameboy advance & GBA SP Nintendo DS (got stolen, sucks) Wii Wii U PS Vita Currently i'm trying to get back all of my previous console for collection. Gotta grab back all those nostalgia while u still can, LOL.
