  1. Me and my buddy would do the same thing. I always pictured it as an announcer presenting Captain America at a press conference, but then suddenly sees Iron Man!
  2. Razor's song always got me amped up! The NES version may have not been as elegant as it's PC's counterpart, but the music that each character had made up for it.
  3. The best thing about Kung Fu Master is that the first boss has a chainsaw. The visual is awesome. You have to use Kung Fu to beat a guy with a chainsaw.
  4. I remember my buddy being really good at this game. I flat out sucked, but really wanted to beat this game.
  5. I still have Turbo Tunnel nightmares to this day!
  6. I loved....LOVED...playing this one. This is the perfect Megaman. Best music, best gameplay, best everything! I can play this game to this day!
  7. I never realized this was on the 7800!
  8. I was never a fan of this game. It was another one of those rushed license games. New Ghostbusters 2 however is an excellent game!
  9. I never really appreciated this game because it didn't have the co-op arcade mode. However, I revisited it and kind of dig it. It has a degree of RPGing elements, and pretty good beat em up combat.
  10. Graphically this game is pretty awesome. Also there are a lot of easter eggs in this game if you're a Godzilla fan. All the vehicles that attack you are from A LOT of Toho kaiju/toskatsu films. Game play wise, it could've been better.
  11. This was the original Scott Pilgrim vs the World!
  12. I remember seeing this game in magazines, and being really excited to play it. When I finally got my hands on it, I couldn't figure it out. Sooooo disappointing.
  13. I hear this was originally intended to be a Terminator related game, but they couldn't clear the rights. Still a great game, but Sunsoft could've had two good license game in their hands (this one and Batman).
  14. This was a pretty good shoot em up. Your ship actually could get hit multiple times. I always thought the ship looked like the USS Enterprise.
  15. I wish this came with the case that Lucas had it in when he busted it out to play Rad Racer.
  16. My friend had this for the Genesis. We would often quote it; "You cannot escape!" "You will be the one escaping!" Classic!
  17. I actually owned this on PS1. It wasn't that bad. The look was a bit more consistent with the show. Shooting it on Digital Beta Cam rather than Beta SP helped give it that familiar X-file cinematic quality. Also the cinematography and lighting of the cut scenes matched the show. It's not a perfect game because the scenes where you're walking around could have been presented better. Also scanning the screen to find that one piece of evidence can be really tedious. However, I liked the character of Craig Willmore. He reminded me of Chandler from Friends as a FBI agent.
  18. The PC version of this game is pretty hilarious. It's cool to see the full motion video of Kirk, Checkov and Sulu. However, the actors who portray the cadets come off very Saved by the Bell. I think directing one of those things is pretty tough since the different choices don't exactly edit well. Sometimes you'll be talking to a person, and they burst out in anger. While the next choice you make will have them smiling and nodding. It's like everyone in Starfleet suddenly has Bi-Polar disorder. They're was a game called Star Trek: Judgement Rites where you took control of the original crew that was pretty good. It was a click point adventure game, but did have a couple of section where you can do some ship battles.
  19. I always try to beat either Earthbound or Mother 3 at least once a year. To me it's like reading a favorite novel to me. Also I love listening to the music. I often play the first Mega Man Gameboy game on my 3DS. I used to play it on my old Gameboy back in the day, and it's one of the few Nintendo hard games that I could beat with some ease. I also play Castlevania 2 Belmont's Revenge on a Gameboy emulator because some one did a rom hack, and made the Belmont sprite move faster. It seems more balanced now, and just a real fun game to play over and over again. Speaking of Rom Hacks, some one created one for Zelda 2: the Adventure's of Link. The author of it wanted to make it more balanced, and increased the XP pick ups. I didn't really like the game back in the day, but I wanted to see if the changes made a difference. I ended playing over 4 hours, and didn't even notice. I'd say the changes made it a bit more engaging.
  20. I ended up downloading this on GOG not too long ago. I used to have this game back in the day, but don't recall every beating it. I couldn't bet past the training stage, and gave up after that. It's too bad because I kind of like the Video cut scenes.
  21. I had a Nintendo Power Pad....and used it.
  22. Any game I show my Niece, and her response is "This is too hard. How much free time did you have when you were younger?"
  23. I remember picking up Shareware disks back in the day at the local grocery store of all places. I got introduced to games like "Last Half of Darkness", "Commander Keen" and the "Duke Nukem" plat former game.
  24. Atari 2600 Commodore 64 (it really was better as a game system than home computing) NES Master System Super NES Genesis (including all the add ons, Sega CD and 32X) Gameboy (I love the gameboy!) Game Gear Atari Lynx PSX Dreamcast PS2 Xbox Nintendo DS PSP PS3 Xbox 360 Nintendo 3DS Xbox One PS4
