  1. I'm game. Would love to see some of these old strategy guides again
  2. E-Day, thanks for all of this hard work scanning & uploading these
  3. I'd say EGM but, in reality, I'd be fine with any older magazines
  4. So, I started going through some boxes in my basement and found a ton of old Disney Adventures, Nick Magazines, Wizard Magazine, comic books & Sports Illustrated for Kids. They're all from about 1993/1994 to about 1998/1999. My question is does the site need video game advertisements from those magazines? I noticed the advertisements section of the forum & figured it couldn't hurt to ask. I figured I'd ask before going through them all trying to find video game ads. Sorry about cross posting between this topic & the one I just created. Didn't realize that this topic was for this type of question.
  5. Man, The Rocketeer. Used to be my favorite movie growing up
  6. Man, me & my Game Genie It was my most used "game" for my Genesis. Until it broke

Sorry that I didn't see that the What Magazines Have You Got? topic. If a Mod wants to lock/delete this topic, feel free. Sorry again
  8. I'm Alex (a.k.a celebi23). While I registered awhile back, I never got around to posting on the forums. Kinda forgot about the site for awhile So, this is my introducing myself. Oh & I've got about 3 boxes of old gaming magazines in my basement. Probably will go through them this weekend
  9. Depends on what mood I'm in. Like recently, I've been on a StarFox 2 kick. Might end up playing some MegaMan 9 later tonight (kinda modern-ish )
  10. Been on a bit of a StarFox 2 kick lately. Shame that it was canceled Probably my favorite canceled game (that's found it's way to the masses )
  11. Just a Wii & and a launch DSPhat Might pick up DSi for myself for Channukah
  12. First console that I ever got was a Sega Genesis Still runs great with no problems
  13. Retro-ish: Genesis (still works great) N64 GameBoy Color Not really retro: GameBoy Advance GameBoy Advance SP GameCube Nintendo DS (Launch DSPhat) Wii
  14. I'd suggest Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga. Fun game if you enjoyed any of the N64 Mario RPGs or even Super Mario RPG. Definitely in a similar vein. Not that hard to get into.
  15. gladiator, thanks for this awesome upload . I need to go through my boxes of old game magazines this weekend. I could probably find a few things that this site is missing.
  16. Picked up Scribblenauts finally. Fun game but, the controls are all over the place
  17. Finally got around to getting StarFox64 on the Virtual Console. Still as much fun as I remember it being.
  18. Oh man, this brings back so many memories for me. Nearly destroyed my friend's SNES controller in pure frustration
  19. Wow, that's quite an awesome addition to this site's collection
  20. edit: sorry, I didn't see the new member introduction topic . Mods, feel free to delete this topic. Sorry again
  21. I would also love them to emulate Saturn games. I still remember when I first played the Saturn. It was at a small video game shop in my town. You payed for X # of minutes to play a game at the shop. Rediculous, I know But, that's where I first played NiGHTS, Sonic R and a few others
  22. I had a feeling that Capcom would do a "Super" version of SFIV . Good thing that I waited then
  23. Hrm, I wonder when the StarCraft II beta test will be. Hopefully Q1 2010 but, with this news, it wouldn't shock me if it was pushed back until next summer.
