  1. Nintendo games often use unique peripherals, so they're trying something different at least.
  2. The live action Phoenix Wright movie is my favorite, and arguably the best IMO.
  3. There's been a ton of attention given to gaming magazines over the last few years, but what about other magazines? Nickelodeon Magazine is one I remember fondly, but no one seems to be scanning it, so I fear it may be lost forever soon.
  4. That is BRILLIANT! Now I wanna learn how to do that!
  5. I saw the movie. It was... well... bad. It seemed pretty clear to me that someone who actually cared about Ghostbusters wrote a first draft of the script, which was then edited by someone who wanted to make it a Spongebob cartoon, subjected to studio-mandated edits, and then directed by a guy who simply didn't care. There was potential, but not much is left after all that whole process.
  6. Floppy drives actually do work on Windows 7 (and Windows 8 I think?). You can buy a usb floppy drive on amazon.
  7. There are a bunch of arcade beat em ups that I've wanted to play through for a long time. Cadillacs and Dinosaurs anyone?
  8. I collected a bunch, but they take up so much space that I can't bring myself to buy more.
  9. You can fit every Atari 2600 game on four floppy disks. A CD would be a huge waste there.
  10. I did... but now I tend to prefer buying games that didn't have save batteries. Replacing all of those dead batteries is a lot of work.
  11. They hurt my teeth and never went down right.
  12. I bought a whole bunch of Sonic 3 copies because the save chip kept failing. It's possible to replace the chip, but that requires soldering above my current skill level.
  13. I find it hard to believe that Nintendo won't at least separately release a detachable disc drive for Wii U disc compatibility. The Wii U sold very poorly, but BC has been a major benefit to owning Nintendo consoles for the last decade and it would be a huge waste to throw that away.
  14. Aww man! I actually just joined for these.
  15. Haha... speaking of demos that actually fit on a CD-ROM... remember Game Empire? 1000 Shareware games on a single disc.
  16. I recommend F-Zero GX for gamecube, F-Zero GP legend for gameboy advance, and F-Zero Climax, also for gameboy advance. F-Zero Climax is an import title, but the menus and narration are entirely in english; It's the only F-Zero game with a track editor!
  17. I got an snes, psx, genesis and nes with cables at a garage sale for 30 bucks recently. The nes was brand new, even; It's a shame the guy took it out of the box.
  18. I'm definitely picking up two of the controllers to use for virtual console games, but the system itself... maybe not.
  19. I've been playing my 3ds and Sega Game Gear. Defenders of Oasis is a classic; We could use more traditional rpgs in a middle-eastern setting.
  20. The first non-pc game I remember playing is Super Mario World... I'm obsessed with it to this day! My actual first "gaming" memory is the music demo bundled with basic in an IBM XT.
  21. Physical, definitely. Prices vary for physical vs digital games, but digital games cannot be replaced if they are locked behind dead drm.
