  1. imho If we are talking about the 80s, the Colecovision console was way ahead of its time in the early 80s. In terms of PC/Console in the 90s, I would say Flashback on the Sega Genesis was ahead of its time. Another World aka "Out of this World" on the MS-DOS/PC and Super Nintendo also comes to mind. just my 2 cents!
  2. Back in the 90s before I went fulltime to the pc (486DX2) my console of choice was the Genesis and all Sega products. (32X, SegaCD etc) I played a few that I felt then were ahead of their time. Shadowrun (Sega Genesis), Flashback (Sega Genesis), Starfox (Super Nintendo) and the great award of all goes to Out of This World. The Super Nintendo version of Shadowrun was worlds different from the Genesis version. Brings back Fond memories of an old friend buying Starfox the second day it came out and was pissed that I beat "his game" before he did. Another funny was my brother playing Out of this World for hours and cursing the whole time. Especially when that Black creature chases the player in the beginning of the game.
  3. Many of the magazines here take me back. I mean some take me all the way back to the late 70s and early 80s. Those hit so different then say some of the ones from the 90s. In a way it is like reliving some of my childhood. Amazing website!
  4. *waves at everyone* In the same boat! lol
  5. Berzerk was one of my all time favorites from back in the day.
