  1. My mistake. I read that 237 was never a print copy, but only released in digital format. Is the digital issue available?
  2. Is not 237 still missing? I see an image for the issue in the magazine database. Is it being scanned?
  3. Are these digital issues the ones without the advertisements or do this issues have the advertisements? I downloaded 108 (from 2001 starting with issue 1 to 130 ending 2011) issues from the Internet Archive back in August 2021 without advertisements. Those issues have disappeared because I can no longer find them on the Internet Archive.
  4. There is a problem opening this file in SumatraPDF. The extension is cbz. If you change the extension to cbr SumatraPDF has no problem opening the file. At least that is what I had to do.
  5. Thank you for the reply. I have been dipping my feet into the emulation scene. I spent most of my time on various models of computers (from Timex Sinclair to Atari ST). My children had NES, SNES, PS1, PS2 and different handhelds. I finally secured a reasonable equipped computer for emulation. I am looking at some of the rpgs that appeared on the PS1 and PS2 especially Suikoden I-V and Suikoden Tactics . So I am looking for scans of old Playstation magazines. Appears some may be difficult to find.
  6. I notice that E-Day uploaded a scan of PSM 124 (donated by Civicminded) in Downloads for United States Magazines. I looked at the Publication database and see that PSM goes up to 110. I understand that PSM became Playstation: The Official Magazine with the Christmas 2007 issue. Was issue 124 the last issue published under the PSM banner? I am assuming that issues 111-123 are out there somewhere in the wild.
  7. PC Powerplay is also owned by Future. Future has already taken the the magazine to a bi-monthly schedule from monthly. Future is also using a lot of content from PC Gamer UK in both PC Gamer USA and now PC Powerplay essentially robbing the magazines of what made them distinctly American and Australian. Quite a few issues of PC Powerplay are on Internet Archive. Those issues (along with the DVDs and CDs) may end up disappearing in the future if Future aggressively pursues copyright claims. I have an almost complete set of PC Gamer USA since I subscribed beginning with Issue 1. I may have a complete set. It has been a while since I checked. There is a distinct difference between the early issues under Imagine and the later issues under Future. The same with the issues of PC Powerplay before Future took over in 2018.
  8. Thank you for the clarification and answering my post! I will remember in the future to cross reference the Publication database. I remember that RetroMags saved me a lot of confusion when it cam to the Game Players, Ultra Game Players and Game Buyers numbering.
  9. I have been able to find scans of every issue of Gamers' Republic (in either pdf, cbr or cbz format) except Issue 21. Does anyone know if Issue 21 actually exists? I see in the database that the cover is missing. I have look high and low to find a scan. It occurred to me that Issue 21 may not exist. I have a scan of Issue 22 and in the upper left corner it states that Issue 22 is a double issue. Does that mean that Issue 22 is actually Issue 21/22? Issue 20 is listed as Volume 2 No 8 and Issue 22 says Volume 2 No 10.. Does anyone have any information on the mythical Issue 21 or could my theory be correct?
  10. I have replayed games over time. The games I replay on a regular basis are mostly CRPGs. I currently have over 2000 hours in both Skyrim and Dragon Age Inquisition. I replay the Mass Effect and Fallout series. I replay games that are fun and do it with different character builds trying to play a different type of character each time. I still have trouble playing the Inquisitor as a heel.
