  1. Thanks. I wondered if that was the case as I couldn't get it to work with the ps2, i need to get a psOne again to test it lol.
  2. If anyone is downloading, please don't forgot to click the 'Thanks' or 'Like' button, it helps! Also if there is any feedback on the scan, or editing if anything is not quite right, please leave a comment, thanks! PS due to the guide being originally double sides, i.e. TR2 was reading from the other side, effectively from the front, flipped over, then it read towards the centre also, therefore to save people turning there digital pages upside down, i already did this and the start of the TR2 guide is directly after TR1 page 64, and starts with effectively the back cover and reading from there to the rest of the TR2 guide. TR1 front cover and inside cover TR1 - 64 pages TR2 (back) cover and inside (back) cover TR2 - 80 pages
  3. But yes Xploder does seem to be rarer, it seems more Gamesgark or Action Replay. I should state that I play via a slim ps2 console, but the ps1 discs work fine normally. I might even try and sort something with the fmcb ps2 card and try and research the ps1 codes and cheats that way if I get more time...
  4. Funnily I was thinking this earlier, but it doesn't seem to indicate that disc edition I have. It was SLES-01649 [UK] (PAL) Some xploder codes went working, so tried a few other ones, thought I could insert the game and the code again (on the disc, saved via Memcard1) if I could find a new one to check it ..
  5. Yeah I have one of them for the ps2 games. Quite like it better than xploder, may look into getting a 2nd hand AR for ps1 games...
  6. Hello, i currently have an Xploder CR for the PS1, but i cannot seem to find any codes for it, (i was trying to use one in Tomb Raider 3: Adventures of Lara Croft), but for some reason none of the preinstalled ones were working, and wondered if there were any others printed in magazines, Does anyone know of any magazines that had these specifically, i cannot remember what books or mags actually had these but remembered they were listed in some. I tried searching the net, all i got was Gameshark codes, or ones that didn't seem to be exactly the same, and is there anyone who was able to remember any codes for the game. I also tried the search here, but wasn't able to find any codes for that game, at all. I just thought i would ask as the whole Xploder /Xplorer database seems to be completely disappeared, likely due to not being required anymore... This is the one i have

  10. Thanks I'm just starting on the second part now, finished editing the first parts (saved local at the moment)
  11. Sorry this is going to be taking a lot longer, was involved in an RTC yesterday and currently dealing with that at this time. Ill come back to this ASAP
  12. currently taking a lot longer than i thought, due to external factors.. oops. So far this is the folder that it is being updated in. (Work In Progress) Tomb Raider Strategy Guide - Pages 1-64 (From Front) - WIP Please let me know if there is something wrong with the initial scan and cropping etc, There are a few editing and blemishes i need to fic (including handwritten notes on some of the pages)
  13. Thanks I will do that no worries. I'll try get them done for tomorrow night. [ UK time. ]
  14. I am just scanning and hopefully submitting after clarification it isn't already uploaded. The guide is one of those that have two guides in it, but one is one side, flip the whole book over and read from the other end towards the middle.. So i have done half so far of the cutting/rebinding and scanning, afaik this is so far OK. - but will advise it needs editing as i have no knowledge to use at all, or indeed have Photoshop. So far i have don't the front half of the guide, TR1, and the front cover and inside front cover separately, as well as the centre paper doll pages that were still intact. IT hasn't yet been edited in anyway yet, but wondered if this was the correct way so far i was doing this? Front Cover and Inside Front Cover Lara Croft Paper Doll - (Centrefold Pages) The first half of the book was fed via ADF on a Brother scanner, using .tif and Auto settings, on the Scan Settings, im not sure how well that exactly is though.
  15. Thanks, Currently debinding and scanning this
  16. thank, but the tutorials link takes me to the wrong link, it just says support requests instead.
  17. My plan is to scan and upload this for editing, Tomb Raider I and II Prima's Official Strategy Guide, (Ward, Kip) i am just starting out this process and doing it either on a ADF or flatbed one by one page, i have read some of the points regarding debinding, cutting pages using a flat knife etc, but this set of pages below weren't working for me.
  18. I remember my getting a ZX Spectrum, late 80s to around 1990 era, and i remember that there was a magazine competion etc that if you guessed the answer to the competition in 2 parts, each making half a word, and my dad told me he figured it out, and it was something along the lines of being the first half was the answer Wind, and the second answer was Oh I assume it was something like a strong breeze, and a term of surprise etc? anyway the final answer was WINDOW However years later i always remembered it and cant for the life of me think what magazine it was, or what the issue was either, and was hoping someone may have remembered seeing it in a retro copy of one... It was mine but he was really into using it also. a ZX Spectrum and the cassettes (that i used to borrow from the library i remember) and a magazine that used to come with a demo tape, or game on it. Any help is appreciated thanks.
