Thanx Meppi! I'm doing a bit of editing myself and with school and other projects, it's going to be a bit slow, but here's a cleaned up cover as an example of what I have so far.. I'm also constantly scouring ebay for older mags so hopefully I can get more soon.

Hi everyone! Well, my very first scan ever! I just got EGM today after winning it on ebay. Unfortunately, the back cover's missing, but hopefully we can get it later... Here's very low res scans of the cover and the first 3 pages I'm on the constant lookout on where I can get old videogame mags but need them to be cheap as I can't afford much, but I'll share as much as I can.

Yeah, it was the original Electronic games magazine by Bill Kunkel and Arnie Katz. I used to have all of them but they got lost and I'm trying to recuperate the library. Unfortunately, the ebay auctions are REAL expensive. :(

The worst part is that I used to have every issue but they got lost in the great house purge of 199x...(some were destroyed by cats). I'm working on reaquiring them and when I do, I'll scan them in. I can't believe how much they're going for on ebay.

I can understand why nintendo would want to keep a proprietary file system to prevent piracy, but DVD seems to be a minimum of 'bonuses' for a videogame system nowadays. Heck, you can get a 20.00 dvd player nowadays. Still, not a big deal if the Wii has it or not, in my humble opinion.

Although I can download at up to speeds of 300k+, I can only upload around 30k...Comcast totally sucks in that respect. I'm around 38 percent done and I've uploaded 5.87 gigs with a 1.4 ratio as of today (5/17/06)

I no longer have any of my old videogame magazines and really miss the great artwork in many of them. I put in my vote for the classic EGM's from the 80's.
