Hahaha man LOL man, I laughed out loud at work when I saw that. As a gamer, I've only ever heard of vaginas through fairytales, legends and dusty ancient texts with poorly detailed renditions of what they might look like.

There is a real good pinball game that holds up well even by today's standards, called Devil's Crush. It should make the cut for inclusion for the mini console. Edit: It looks like the first game of the series, Alien Crush, is included so far.

Sega was the enemy when I was growing up... back when you were lucky if your parents would buy you one console. That made you heavily invested into the success of whatever you had. I did get to play most of these games later on when emulation became wide spread. That being said, this is a very good list and this product has twice as many games as the SNES mini. What baffles me is that the Japanese Mega Drive mini gets the six button controller and the USA gets the old-school three button version. Good luck with that copy of Street Fighter II.

Thank you for the donation, it was a huge gesture at a big cost to yourself. There are probably a lot of individuals out there with huge collections who might be too intimidated to try something like this, so its important that we support someone when they do make the leap.

So from a rough quick glance, it looks like there are around 200 issues listed that we do not have on the site, so there are some gaps that this fills. I am not sure how many more issues E-Day and Philly actually have in a box somewhere that have not been brought out. Unfortunately that large swath of Game Informers can't be added on the site :-(.

Sheep magazine? Haha, I didn't realize something like that existed. I wonder if there is a "Watching Paint Dry" magazine.

Not a collector, but literally just a few hours ago I bought a USB capture device so I could port my old family VHS tapes into a digital format. Another good thing to do if you have all those old tapes would be to capture some old commercials or news casts and put them up on YouTube or Archive.org.

The two magazines I really enjoyed in the 90s were GamePro and EGM. I was subscribed to both but I tossed all of the physical copies once I saw retromags had them all preserved :-). GamePro was my first gaming magazine and I got the first issue because they were being given away at Toys R Us as an introduction special. I've always liked the GamePro preview/review layouts and the section at the end for cheats. EGM I was introduced to in grade school. I was impressed with the Japanese and arcade game news that GamePro did not cover very well. This was especially important when new revisions of Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter were being introduced to the arcades. All the other magazines I had during that time were newsstand pickups when I was bored. Nintendo Power I appreciated for their walkthroughs but because it was Nintendo-focused only, I felt like it was lacking.

One of the Hobby Consolas (Spanish magazine) that I bought long ago came with a Dragon Ball Z VHS movie. That was pretty neat.

This is a frustrating picture to look at because I remember this ad. I don't remember the game it belonged to (I don't think it was Dead Space), but I am not finding it in the scans I have. It has to be around 2005 - 2009 timeframe. My brain also thinks it remembers that there is also a two page ad spread for this as well. At the time I subscribed to GamePro, EGM and the Official Xbox Magazine, so it is going to be in one of those three magazines. I did a Google and Bing image search and I was not able to see any references to this.

I had to look this game up. Apparently this is an Atari 7800 homebrew game that had custom cartridges made for it and is now being released on Steam. This would have been an interesting game to have in the 80's because the mechanics are different than anything Atari was putting out on the console at the time. Most of those real 80's - 90's titles are more difficult than anything that has been released afterward. No health bars, one hit one kill with pixel precision. The input systems were not as comfortable and I don't think they were as responsive as today.
