If anyone has not tried it before, you must try Uni-rally (uni-racers in some countries) for the SNES
It was created by the same team that brought GTA to the world, it is an absolute classic and I say everyone should try this classic

@ES is taking up some of my time at the moment, but as soon as I have some free time I will get to the scanning of Issue 119
This is just a plain matter of priorities for me as @ES is a huge priority for me as I am learning a lot of things to do with programing from working with it!!

EGM 122 is ready for download now as some may have already noticed
I have decided that I am going to scan Issue 119 next!
I would have gone to the next one in order by going to Issue 123, but I feel the need to go to a smaller issue
(EGM 123 is about 260 pages)
I hope you all understand the reason for this and look forward to seeing Issue 119!

I have recently noticed that the thank you pages don't always act the same in different programs.
In CDisplay and ComicRack for instance, which were the only two I tested on Windows the pages show up at the end of the magazine, as they should.
But it seems that with several other programs including Comicbooklover and FFView, they show up as the first page, due to being named -x-x-retromags-x-x-.
So it might be best to rename the thank you page to x-x-retromags-x-x from now on.
I hope its not a problem but I just name it as the last page number
eg.. Mag with 120 pages
Page 001 - Page 120
Page 121 = Thank you page

I have taken a couple of days break, but am going hard on EGM 122 right now as I type this!!

edit:- EGM 122 will be ready for download within the next 24 hrs!

HELLO EVERYONE, BOY DO I HAVE A SURPRISE FOR YOU ALL
I stumbled on this site about 18 hours ago and I have some bad news and good news for you all!!
BAD NEWS FIRST
Up until a yr ago I had EVERY issue from 114 up to the current issue!! The reason I don't anymore is cause I had about 3 yrs worth stolen from me at random spots in my collection(I was getting up towards 9 yrs without missing an issue:( )
GOOD NEWS
What I do still have I am going to share with you all!!
Out of the issues listed as missing I have tonnes the are needed and I am going to scan the lot in my spare time for you all, only issue is I don't really want to de-bind any of them so tips on scanning them to satisfaction with out de-binding them will be greatly appreciated!
The missing issues I can supply are 114 (Have to see how it scans as it is SLIGHTLY water damaged, Everything else is in mint condition)
120, 121 and 122
133 - 149 + every issue in-between
151 - 161 + every issue in-between
Once this site gets up to issues 187 and up as the newest that are accepted I will be able to keep the newest issues perfectly up to date as I have none missing after this point and I purchase the magazine religiously every month still!! (I have been doing this for nearly 10 yrs now)
In total thats another 32 issues that I can personally add to the collection as of right now
With some awesome sequential runs!!
1999, 2001 and 2002 sets will be complete!!

I am a new member that has a tonne of issues of EGM
114 Jan '99 - 123 Oct '99 + everyone inbetween
133 Aug '00 - 163 Feb '03 + everyone inbetween
Let me know if these are wanted as I have no idea what is and isn't needed!!
Also have a tonne of issues of an Aussie gaming magazine (Hyper)
Starting from 65 Apr '99 right through to the current issue
(I know you don't touch mags less then 5 yrs old but that still leaves a few yrs worth at the start of my collection!!
-
Well I stumbled upon this site and Downloaded EGM #1
Woo Hoo!
My name is Shadow (aka Glenn), am an Aussie and I am a massive fan of EGM
I actually would have every issue of EGM for the past 10 yrs but 3 yrs worth were stolen from me a yr ago!!
These are the issues I do have
114 Jan '99 - 123 Oct '99 + All inbetween
133 Aug '00 - 163 Feb '03 + All inbetween
All of these are in mint condition except the first 6 or so and issue 150 got written in by me circling games I have in the top 100!!
If someone wants me to scan any of these let me know and I will share my collection
I also collect an Aussie gaming magazine called Hyper and have every issue from 65 Apr '99 right through to the very current issue!
If any of these are wanted as well I would be more then willing to share them!!

Actually at some point (Probably not next gen, but the gen after) we won't see any form of media at all!
The way things will work at this point is you will only buy the license to the game! (Which could be purchased online using your console or from a games store like Electronics Boutique) You will not actually have any part of the game on your system at all.
I will use Sony as an example here (As they are the ones that have talked about this in an issue of EGM)
What you will buy is essentially a box and controller
The games will only ever be on Sony's machines at there end
When you purchase a game it will be added to a list that your box has in a menu when you turn your console on!
When you choose a game the game will boot for you on Sony's puters and all the required info for picture, sound and controllers etc... would be sent to your box!
Before saying that this is a bad idea, think about the one major positive to this
You would in theory never have to upgrade to a next gen console again as when sony decide to upgrade there puters you would automatically be upgraded at the same time!
This would also wipe out piracy once and for all, meaning that developers get the money they work hard to earn (Possibly meaning that smaller publishers would start taking risks again
Anyway, that is my insight to this argument! What does everyone else think about this idea
