  1. Collecting NES games

  2. Mmm... I can see why you guys are doing this, but I´m not too sure if it´s a good idea. I mean, it isn´t easier just to try to scan as many magazines as possible? While the "newer" magazines are being scanned you can have more time to get the old and hard to find Issues. Anyway, I always thought that "Retromags" was only the name of this site, but now I see you mean it. The bright side is that now the job is going to focus on scanning really old issues which I never had the chance to read, specially Electronic Games. Cool!
  3. What? nobody mentioned the ending theme of Metal gear solid: The best is yet to come? What about Small two of pieces from xenogears? How can you EVER guys forget: Just like the wind of Castlevania SotN??? Popful Mail, the ending theme is catchy too and the lunar songs, all of them...
  4. Well I have a similar problem, I get the: "We're sorry, but your last request produced the following error: You may not download any more files until your other downloads are complete" and I haven´t download anything in days... You get a different error message when you have only one D/L per week, I know. I´ll wait a couple more days and see if the same error pops up... I have been waiting 2 days so far though...
  5. I thought the same but believe me, it´s not worth the time... I LOVE FF games, all of them but XI is not too great. I pay the suscription for 6 months and ended up playin only like 6 hours... I couldn´t complete the very first quest and there was nothing that kept me trying... If you really want to check this game though, you can get for $1.99 the trial version in EB games and Gamestop and play it for 15 or 30 days, I don´t remember. You´ll need after the instalation to download a patch for almos 4 hours with a good connection... so don´t get too exited after you´re done with the instalation.
  6. I have a DC and with the Utopia boot CD I don´t have any problems playing copies or japanese games... but anyway I just use the boot CD to play imports, I don´t like the copies.
  7. I want to play Ultima: Quest of the Avatar in the VC, but I don´t think I ever see it there... Too bad it´s impossible to have "ALL" the NES games there. Anyway it´s better Live Arcade, at least the rankings and world records keep you coming for more...
  8. You better get the .txt from gamefaqs.com both games are good and will keep you playing for hours, but the only one that is worth getting everything is Aria of sorrow because you get the ring of chaos if you have the 100% of the souls...
  9. I haven´t read all your posts yet but I want to let you know guys that I have COMPLETE collections of Club Nintendo, Atomix and EGM magazines but all of them are in spanish (From mexico NOT from Spain). I was going to scan them for myself only at the begining (because now I have about 300 issues total, not all of them meet the 5 years old requirement) but now that I know about this proyect I would like to know if you are just interested in English magazines only? Because anyway I have a bunch of different issues from GamePro, GameFan, Electronic games, EGM and EGM2 in english, maybe with that I can help you to fill in on some gaps you might have.
