  1. What are the hardest video games you've ever played? Mine are: Myst MegaMan Zero I Wanna be the Guy Eternal Daughter
  2. I think it was either Zelda: Link to the Past, or Donkey Kong Country.
  3. I completed the Super Nintendo version a few years ago.
  4. I've just downloaded and set up F@H, and I have it running right now.
  5. Try some of these possible solutions: 1: When a user registers, have a script check for duplicate IP addresses before allowing the registration to go through. Have a script ban IP addresses when a certain number of attempts to register are made through that address. 2: Find lists of IP addresses for proxy servers and ban them all.

    Hi

Ummm... what is the point of this post? Also, "Hi" has got to be the worst thread title I've ever seen.
  7. Let's come up with our own DRM systems! Your objective is to try to invent a DRM scheme that would make piracy very difficult, but but not interfere with the rights of those who own the game legally. Post comments and criticism of other people's systems, and revise your own system (using the edit button) in response to said criticism.
  8. Why does the download manager say to wait until other downloads are complete? I'm not downloading any other files!
  9. Yes, because everyone knows that a gaming system isn't complete without some sort of add-on.
  10. The following Atari 2600 Games: Custer's Revenge Beat 'Em and Eat 'Em Philly Flasher Jungle Fever Burning Desire Gigolo Cathouse Blues Knight on the Town
  11. Stefan Eriksson, one of the high-up developers of the Gizmondo, had ties with the Swedish Mafia, and he crashed a Ferrari Enzo.
  12. What video game system do you think is the worst ever made?
  13. There is an enhanced remake of Metal Gear Solid available on the GameCube. You can also play it on the Wii if you have a Gamecube controller and memory card.
  14. That would be the Battle Network and Star Force series. They are on pretty much a completely different timeline from the Classic, X, Zero, ZX, and Legends timeline. In my opinion, they should permanently retire the Internet (BN/SF) timeline, and just stick with the Robotics (C/X/Z/ZX) timeline. The good news is that MM9 is on the Robotics timeline. That bad news is I hear they are making another game on the Internet timeline (MM Star Force 3).
  15. I have MMZXA, and I played the 8 bit bonus stage, "Mega Man a", that would have been quite great, had they not made one huge screw-up: Your buster gun shoots above the heads of most of the enemies! I mean come on, that doesn't make any sense! Why can't you at least crouch to shoot them? Why did they have to make the enemies so damn short? The ONLY way you can hit them is if they're in the middle of a jump, or if they are on ground that's higher than you! Otherwise, they are literally invincible! What were they thinking!? Anyway, enough of my (probably poor) impersonation of the Angry Video Game Nerd. For more examples of what happens when projectiles go over the enemies, check his reviews of Friday the 13th and Bible Games. Only in this game, the projectile goes straight, but is never at the elevation at which it can hit those enemies. As for MM9, they are making it. It will be released on WiiWare this September. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Megaman_9
  16. Wait... if you were stuck on a deserted island, how would you get electricity to play the games? Since there is no electricity, I would just bring a bunch of crappy games, (examples: Dr Jekyll Mr Hyde, Big Rigs, and Superman 64) and broken (Or bad, like the Atari 5200) consoles. I might be able to make some sort of tools or weapons. For example, for hunting, I could sharpen the edge of a Big Rigs CD, or break it and use the edges, or I could bludgeon potential prey with a ColecoVision power adapter. I could also use the back of a CD as a mirror.
  17. For traditional consoles that hook up to the TV, I think think that optical media should be used, because the discs are cheaper to manufacture than cartridges, and they can hold more data. However, for handheld systems like the DS, I say stick with cartridges. They have no moving parts and are thus less likely to malfunction, especially if the system is dropped or shaken around. Furthermore, cartridges use less energy, due to not having to spin a disc, so the battery lasts longer. These are important considerations for a handheld system.
  18. According to X-Play, 50 Cent: Bulletproof was pretty atrocious (It got a 1 out of 5 and a Golden Mullet award.).
  19. I've never had coffee, so I guess I could go without it.
  20. I'm a 19 year old student at the University of Louisville, majoring in computer engineering. The earliest game I remember is Lemmings for DOS. Other games included Monkey Island, SimTower, and MechWarrior 2. I actually didn't get into console gaming (except when visiting friends houses) until relatively late, when my sister bought a SNES off of eBay, around the year 2001, I think. However, my parents eventually understood the advantages console games have over PC games (Much less expensive, not having to deal with complicated system requirements, etc.), we did buy a Wii as soon as we could find one. I also bought my first handheld, a Nintendo DS, just a few weeks ago. Despite my username MaverickHunter40245, I haven't heard of the MegaMan games until after I moved to Louisville, KY, when I was in high school. Correction: Actually, now I remember. My first exposure to MegaMan was at my friend's house, when I lived in Massachusetts. (He lived in Hamilton, I lived in Ipswich.) We were playing X3 and X6, though I didn't recognize them at the time. While we were playing, I didn't catch the titles, so I only figured them out by playing the Gamecube MMX collection after I moved to Louisville.
