  1. Hi, I'm new here, and after searching around for hours on eBay and some other sites decided that this seemed like a good place to post. Here's the situation: I am currently on a quest to completely wallpaper my hallway with old Nintendo posters, images from instruction manuals, and so on. The problem is, I'm somewhat selective and only want posters of games I have played/liked. The bulk of the posters I am using (roughly 45 posters so far) come from old Nintendo Power magazines I have that I have cut out and laminated. After looking back through the posters offered in some of the older Nintendo Powers that are missing from my collection, there are a few I would like to have. The problem is, the only way to find them on eBay that I have been able to determine is to buy a huge lot of something like 130 issues, from which I don't really want any of the magazines, and only about 15 of the posters. I suppose I could buy it, cut out the posters, and resell the magazines, but that seems like kind of a pain in the butt. So, I was wondering if anyone here either had any of these old posters that they wanted to sell to me, or could suggest a place where I could find them/purchase them that doesn't involve buying hundreds of mags for a few posters. I've never done any purchases through a forum before, and I know its my first post, but I suppose it's fairly low risk on the end of someone selling me posters as I would pay them beforehand - in other words, I am only looking to buy, not sell, so there wouldn't really be much a way I could gyp anyone. I am familiar with paypal and would be willing to send payment that way, so if you have any of the posters I need, let me know and we can work out a price. That being said, here are the ones I am trying to find:

From issue #6 - Megaman II poster

    From issue #11 - Super C poster

From issue #12 - Final Fantasy poster

From issue #18 - Megaman III poster

From issue #22 - Battletoads poster

Form issue #23 - Sim City poster

From issue #24 - Tailspin poster

From issue #26 - Metroid poster

From issue #27 - Star Wars poster

From issue #31 - TMNT III poster

From issue #45 - Star Fox SNES poster

    From issue #47 - Battletoads/Double Dragon poster

From issue #52 - Mortal Kombat CE poster

From issue #53 - Secret of Mana poster

    From issue #68 - Megaman X2 poster

Again, I'm just after the posters, not the whole magazine, so if you don't mind having a magazine without the poster that works for me. However, if you would prefer to sell me the whole magazine, I would not be opposed to that if that is the only way for me to obtain the poster. If this is in the wrong forum, I apologize, just let me know and I'll move it. Thanks for looking, and if you can help me in any way, please let me know. Thanks again,

The best way in my opinion is to download the issue from Retro Mags, and then print it off the computer. Thats what I do except I print smaller versions so I don't waste ink and I can stare at all of them while im playing my games :D

  2. Look, I know I shouldn't be doing this but I really need help and well Nintendo Power don't exacly have people sitting around and letting you cheat the right way anymore and Google isnt being very helpful so I have to turn to you guys.

In Metroid, for the NES, how can you unlock doors? Specifically the one at the top of the first hallwayish thing. Like when you start off and you go right untill you come to this really really long stairwell type of thing and at the top, they're is this locked door. How can you unlock it and same goes for all of the other locked doors in Metroid (ex. The Long Beam cage)

I honestly really need help on this so if anyone knows please post here.

    Thanks! :)

  3. I am going to re-do mine/update

    5. Call of Duty 4

    4. Portal

    3. Half-Life 2

    2. Bioshock

    1. Halo 3

Don't be all like "Wow. Halo 3 is so old. Call of Duty 4 ftw"

Well its a game I can play for hours and hours on end. Thats why its #1

  4. As the 1 year anniversery of Halo 3 today, Bungie announced what they didn't announce at E3. The expansion to Halo 3. The trailer came out today, it doesnt reveal anything, it just shows what is to believed to be Metropolis, a city on earth that was attacked and destroyed in Halo 2, being attacked by in my opinion, space pods with Convenent in them. It is probably just that part of the game through someone elses eyes or something like that. Check out the trailer

EDIT: When I re-watched the trailer in HD, I spotted a few Traxus buildings, which was the company that found The Ark in Halo 3. But, post what you see here.

  5. I really want to see this but I saw Step Brothers in the end. Step Brothers was alright but I would have rather seen Tropic Thunder. It doesnt look like my kind of movie but it got good ratings so I guess ill check it out on DVD.

  6. Portal is the 5th greatest game 4th greatest game EVER. It is AMAZING.

I picked up the Orange Box by recommendation by a friend and wow, I LOVE it. Portal is just amazing. I also beat it in one day but its not that challenging. That was my concern, that it would be challenging but its actually pretty easy and as fun as heck.

  7. Haha! Didn't P-Diddy want free fuel to fly from LA to New York in his Private Jet or something?

Anyway, I agree with E-Day. I know someone from Dubai and they HATE the cold and they said they never want to come back to canada because its too cold.

  8. You mean the Wiimote condom?

Umm no its a... lets just keep it at that shall we?

Ah, you mean it that way.

I think they will only bundle the plug itself along with the game.

Don't know how much Wii Play sells for in the US but over here in Europe it can be had for €35 if you shop around, which is actually €5 cheaper than a regular controller. :)

So I believe the retail price for WiiSports Resort+plugin will be no more than €40.

In the US its like $60 im pretty sure and plus tax is like almost $70. But yeah, since its only the game it might be 40 but I heard 70 so I dunno

  10. Michael Keaton all the way! Kilmer sucker, Clooney sucked even more, and Bale sucked the big one. I respect Adam West though.

Whoa, Whoa, WHOA. I just want to do my take on this. BALE, was the worst. Okay I agree, the deep voice is too much but he fits the party REALLY well. Same with Kilmer. Batman Forever is my favourite. Clooney is more like the Kool-Aid guy. Nobody cares what you want to say just get onto what the story is, which sucked anyway so if I wasn't 2 years old I would have left the theater. But I was a kid back then so I liked those jokes but now I just I want go all AVGN on it...

  11. Metroid? I know what your thinking, "It doesnt have a map so its confusing!" Well.. so what? I honestly don't care, I just like guessing really. Or I just go on my computer, Bring up the first issue of Nintendo Power and look there.

And Contra. I don't even have to explain, Contra is AMAZING. IMO it invented side-scrolling shooters.
