  1. Top 5 women I would .... talk about with other men ? The 5 you posted are nice. I don't have a top 5 pick at the moment.
  2. Don't see anything in the map.... I am from New York.
  3. Ever since I bought the first console (Coleco Vision), I am hooked with Mario games. It's no exception when I bought the NES, I got all of the Mario games. When SNES came out, I bought the system mainly for Mario games as well. And so far, SNES has the best Mario compilations -- Super Mario All Stars + Super Mario World. Sure, the N64 has Super Mario 64 and I love that as well. However, comparing the N64 with the SNES, the SNES is just a better deal for me -- much more good games on the SNES than the N64. Final answer: My favorite console is the SNES.
  4. For NES, here's my TOP 10 Super Mario Bros 3 Super Mario Bros 2 Super Mario Bros Mega Man II Contra Duck Tales Bubble Bobble Tetris Life force Prince of Persia
  5. For some reason, I was never attracted by the RPG games enough to play them. Final Fantasy was on those famous RPG games that I've thought of playing but never did..... maybe I will try someday.
  6. Sounds like a great deal! Thanks for the info!
  7. That was an excellent picture! Very creative! As for who will win the presidential race, I would say McCain.
  8. The first video game magazine I subscribe to was EGM. Don't recall when I started, but that was 10+ years ago. Back then, I was interested to read about new games coming out and their tips & tricks section.
  9. I like the pruning method you're using. This is good way to remove the spam bots.

    How To View?

In case you didn't read my other post that mentioned this.... Other than CDisplay, you can also use ComicRack, which is also free, to view (and manage) the CBR (and other format like CBZ, CBA, CB7) files. Just search for ComicRack using your favorite search engine to find it.
  11. I read some old posts (maybe not even on this site, maybe it was) regarding people uploading retromags releases to NewsGroups and I read that Phillyman is ok with people doing that. I searched the newsgroups (using binsearch) and found that the last flood of retromags releases was 138 days and 160 days ago and they were posted on alt.binaries.cd.image.highspeed. I don't think anyone can download from those old posts any more. So, my question is: when is the next flood going to be ? (and to which newsgroup) I think it would be nice to do a flood every 2 or 3 months. What do you think ?
  12. Those are nice tips for CDisplay, thanks! I will give it a try. I was searching for a Windows program to view CBR today and most people seem to recommend CDisplay. I tried it and didn't like it much. So, I was searching for another one and I found ComicRack. ComicRack looks much better and easier to use in my opinion. For those that don't already know, just want to point out that there are other CBR/CBZ/CBA/CB7 ...etc viewers available out there.
  13. If I can include game cartridge as well, here's my top 5 picks: Super Mario All Stars + Super Mario World (SNES) -- Mario games are my favorite and this is the best compilation. Soul Calibur (Sega Dreamcast) Thunder Force III (Sega Genesis) Boxy Boy (Turbo Grafix 16) R-Type (turbo Grafix 16)
  14. Installed Google Chrome two days ago. It loads pages quicker than Firefox and IE and Opera -- at least that's my experience. The only thing I don't like about Chrome so far is that the screen doesn't scroll when I wan to capture the entire page. Let's me elaborate a little more about capturing the entire page.... In the past, when I a nice web page and would like to capture the entire page (usual those pages that spans multiple screens, it requires scrolling page down a few times to see them all). I use HyperSnap to capture that. I've been using HyperSnap for many years and it works great with IE, Firefox and pretty much all programs I've used in MS Windows. Now, with Google Chrome, when I use HyperSnap to capture a window that requires scrolling, it just doesn't scroll. It captures the first screen instead and done -- not what I want. Does anyone experience the same thing as I do ?
