Just wondering about the Mario Kart 64 guide...wondering if and when it might be added to the collection?
-
Aquired and currently working on:
Mario Mania - Uploaded to Retromags and released
Super Gameboy - Uploaded to Retromags, not posted yet
Killer Instinct - Scanned, missing Page 3 and Page 4, waiting to see if anyone has these pages
Golden Sun 2: The Lost Age - Still bound, but will be scanning soon
Golden Sun/Golden Sun2 (Prima Guide) - Still bound, but will be scanning
Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages/Seasons - Still bound, but will be scanning
Secret of Mana (Prima Guide) - Just purchased, still bound, but will be scanning
Gameboy - Just purchased, waiting for it in the mail
I know its a lot of work but these are the guides I have and want to scan and contribute
Update:
Mario Maina: Uploaded
Super Gameboy Guide: Uploaded
Killer Instinct: Should I uploade even though missing pg 3/4?
Golden Sun 2: The Lost Age: Scanned, Cropped, Just have to put finishing touches then can upload
Golden Sun/Golden Sun 2, Prima Guide, Scanned, Need to crop
Legend of Zelda: OA/OS: Finished, just need to put the files together and upload
Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening, Finished, wasn't sure if it has been uploaded yet?
Secret of Mana, Prima Guide, Scanned, needs to be cropped and touched up
Gameboy Guide: Scanned, needs to be cropped and touched up.
Taking a little bit of time to crop and edit...my autoscanner likes to move the pages a little bit so batch processing is not all that good.

1. Soul Blazer (Kinda prequel to Illusion of Gaia)
2. Secret of Mana
3. LoZ: A Link to the Past
4. Super Mario World
5. Super Mario RPG
6. SimCity
7. Super Mario All-Stars
8. Illusion of Gaia
9. Final Fantasy II
10. Final Fantasy III
I know, very heavy on the RPG end...
-
My memory is a little fuzzy but it was either Super Mario World or Super Mario Land.....
-
Some of my favorites:
Secret of Mana (SNES)
Soul Blazer (SNES)
Terangima (SNES)

I would like to see the VC expanded to include other maker's games like Capcom, Square/Enix.
Secret of Mana would do really well along with other long forgotten games.
It also would be nice to see Nintendo bring the gameboy games into the fold as well, yes we still can play them on other systems....
Games I would like to see come out:
Secret of Mana (SNES)
Soul Blazer (SNES)
Illusion of Gaia (SNES)
Mega Man series
Golden Sun games (GBA)
Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening (GBC)
Nope. I like the look of SMB3 in Super Mario All-Stars better than the NES version, colours and all. I was never a fan of the graphics on the NES.I'd like to see more Master System games on the VC. Game Gear titles would be welcome too, as would 32X and Sega Cd games, though the storage limitation is an issue with that last one.

Hi,
I am currently scanning the Killer Instinct guide by Nintendo. I reallized that I am missing Page 3 and Page 4. If anybody can scan these two pages, then the guide will be complete and can be uploaded to RetroMags.
Thanks for any help.

Cant wait to see some releases from you, As for the Nintendo Power magazines I have not scanned some of them because I dont own them. So if I can get my hands on them I will scan them -
Hey
I just purchased a lot of mags from EBAY and this is one of the guides in it. And Diddy Kong Racing is in this lot. Let me know if I can get you any information.

Hello there, I'm a member of a particular forum doing something called a "Let's Play." Essentially, it is footage of a game with commentary. I have been looking to do Diddy Kong Racing but have realized that I might not have enough information about the game to provide a satisfying commentary. I have searched high and low for the Player's Guide and even downloaded the Nintendo Power Volume 103 magazine from this site in order to extract some sort of information. All I would like to know is if, in the Player's Guide's 128 pages, whether or not there is information about tracks and made up histories and such (much like there is in the Star Fox 64 Player's Guide about planets.) If anyone could enlighten me on where to find it or, better yet, supply me with the pages to the Player's Guide, it would be much appreciated. I do not have an eBay account at the moment, and I'm not sure how long it would take for any guide to ship.
As I scavanged within my room to find my old DKR Guide, I did manage to find Nintendo Power Volume 136 which I noticed was absent from the downloads page. I would happily supply it to you if I had a scanner. At the moment, I do not have one. But if I knew anything about the status of the Player's Guide, it might be an incentive to get me to find a friend with a working scanner and help you guys out.
Thank you for your time and consideration. Even if a "no" is the reply, an answer would be appreciated.

I dont think I added any of the guides yet to this new system, Feel free to upload them if you want.
Phillyman,
I just finished scanning the Mario Mania Guide and turned it into a PDF file...it is 91mb...I guess it could be shrunk down a little smaller. Let me know if you are interested?

My first SNES game that I mastered was Soul Blazer then followed by Super Mario World. I mastered Soul Blazer and loved that game so much that I did run a website on that game many many years ago...I never finished making all the level maps though....Maybe I will finish them by the 20 year aniversary in 2012.....

Mine would have to be two games in particular:

New Play Control Mario Kart Double Dash
in Current Generation Video Gaming!
Posted
"I mean they kinda screwed up by not giving Mario Kart Wii the ability to download new tracks, I love playing Mario Kart, and I would have soo bought extra tracks to race on. So this is their chance to redeem themselves, by redoing the graphics and controls for Double Dash.
Looks like I am not the only person who thinks this would be a hit...."
I too agree with this statement. Add-on tracks would be great! There are so many tracks that they did not use in the wii or DS version. They could be bundled and sold as packs. I mean who would not want to race on other tracks online. Nintendo will take another route to make money and release things separately like making people purchase each game separate and not intergrate into MK Wii.
