  6. Give me a hollar when it's done and I'll re-upload all the magazines I've scanned. Maybe that'll get me re-motivated to start scanning again :-)
  7. How timely! :-) I'm finally moved and can get the June 1982 issue of Electronic Games uploaded. I think I still need to finish editing about 10 more pages or so - I was abruptly interrupted by the move and haven't looked at this stuff for quite a while now.
  8. I've been MIA recently because I had to relocate and it took quite a lot of my time. Needless to say I was a bit shocked when I came back after (at least) a 6 month layoff and saw my submissions changed (mostly w/o giving me credit). It's good to see that ownership will be given back to the original uploader. Here is the stuff that I uploaded: Electronic Games Vol. 1 No. 2 (Mar 82) Electronic Games Vol. 1 No. 17 (Jul 83) Electronic Games Vol. 2 No. 6 (Aug 83) Computer Fun Issue #1 (Apr 1984) Ahoy! Issue #1 (Jan 84) COMPUTE! Vol. 9 No. 10, Issue #90 (Nov 87) How to Win at Donkey Kong (Jun 1982) The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Official Player's Guide The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask Official Player's Guide I've noticed that some of the stuff doesn't look like it's been re-uploaded yet so I can do that if needed? CrookedMouth: Thanks for looking out for me :-)
  9. I scanned this in at the same time I scanned in EG Vol. 1 No. 4 and figured I would sneak this in real quick since it was pretty small and easy. Still editing EG Vol. 1 No. 4 and it shouldn't be much longer. Anyway, from June 1982 comes...
  10. Thanks for the kind words! It's nice to know that there are some old geezers like myself who are appreciating the hard work put into preserving these issues. That's a very generous offer. I think between the three of us we have all the issues covered. If issues were needed I would be glad to take you up on your offer but I would want to finish scanning what I have first. I think I can speak for everyone when I say that we definitely appreciate your offer of lending the magazines to be scanned, even if we may not need to take you up on it.
  11. Finally completed Vol. 1 No. 2. Sorry it took so long - I scanned it the day I got it and started editing it as soon as I finished the previous issue but when I got about 80% through editing I had to start working on my days off since we're short-handed at work so I had no time to get it done. I think the quality on that issue is really high as the magazine was in excellent condition. Next up is Vol. 1 No. 4 (Jun 1982) Update 06/24/09, 7:30pm: Scanning completed / Editing in progress.
  12. I agree with this 100%. In fact, this happened to me. The first issue I downloaded was a "raw" scan where the pages were crooked and had no editing at all. I was a bit turned off but came back a few months later and downloaded another mag that had been edited. I never spoke up about this because I didn't want to offend anyone who had taken the time to scan the issue - and I can definitely see it from the perspective of someone who just doesn't have the time to do the editing as it can be very laborious.
  13. Phew, finally finished EG Vol 2. No. 6 (Aug 1983). Next up is Vol. 1 No. 2 (Mar 1982) which I am hoping to have done relatively quickly. Update 06/21/09, 9:30pm: Scanning & Editing completed. Mag has been uploaded.

Also, my hands have been really fatigued from work and have been cramping while using the mouse, I'm guessing its the start of Carpal Tunnel from clicking so much at work, and scanning doesn't cause any pain. :-) Mar 82 and Aug 83 will probably be released back-to-back or at the same time.
